I’m having a lot of trouble building my site with the Enfold theme!
It happens to me all the time that when I create, for example, a “block of text” or a “special title” or insert an image etc, when I then update the page and go to preview .. all the changes I’ve made suddenly they disappear and I have to start over!?
Can you help me understand why?
Is it a Template Bug? what can be the reason?? I am desperate

    Hey Luca,

If your content is disappering, then it’s because there is open html markup in your content. Please check for any open tags in your content.

Hi, I’ve inserted some html tags in the text, for font size, or line spacing… can this create the problem of suddenly deleting everything I’ve created?!
for example, I just created a text block with this writing:

<p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”font-size: x-large;”>We started from this question</span><span style=”font-size: x-large; “>and after thinking about it, we understood that it is the atmosphere, the Mood that makes the difference!</span></p>
    <p style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”font-size: x-large;”>This is how SPIRITO was born, </span><span style= “font-size: x-large;”>the new way of doing Bar Catering.</span></p>
    <p style=”text-align: center;”></p>

I then inserted an image and a button below… I refreshed a couple of times while working to see the result online and it was ok, now I refreshed again and it’s all gone!

Can html tags really create this problem?

    Hi,

If you leave html tags open, then yes, they can create problems. If the content you posted just now disappeared, then the problem is likely further up in your content.

You should try to clean up what you add as well, an empty paragraph isn’t very useful for example:

    <p style=”text-align: center;”></p>

Also, if you are copying the content from somewhere then please mind the double quotes:

    "

    Is not the same as:

Perfect, thanks for the advice, I’ll try to remove “annoying” tags and see if that solves the problem.
