    Hello, after updating enfold (4.2.6), I have seen that the option of colors in the contact form does not work correctly. I have the clear transparent option activated but it does not work. Also the message label does not appear.

    Can you disable caching and minification for now?

    Hi,

    I checked for any conflicts and theme options seem to work fine. I’m unable to figure out what is causing this issue and I suspect while updating the theme some files are not updated correctly for this issue to occur right after the theme update.

    You can wait until the next update is released and update the theme.

    For temporary fix use the below CSS

}

    Hi Vinay, thanks for your reply but the CSS code does not solve the problem. I always update enfold over FTP. In the next update do you recommend me to continue updating over FTP or through the update option in the backend? Thank you.

    You can update either way, it’s just this update to 4.2.6 was better to be done via FTP.

    Fresh installs of 4.2.6 on 3-5 different sites without caching or any other plugins and these issues are there with contact forms and other elements. Desperately waiting for 4.2.7, as I’ve had clients jump all the way back to 4.2.3…the most stable version I’ve found in my testing.

    @WP     Turned Up: Please make sure that the contact.php file does not exist outside the “contact” folder. Check the config-templatebuilder > aviashortcodes folder. Eliminate duplicate shortcode files or remove the whole folder completely and then replace it with the latest version.

    Hello Ismael, I have uploaded all the enfold files to my server by FTP and the problem is not solved. I have also checked the files of your previous message and everything seems correct. Is there any previous version of enfold that you advise me not to give trouble? Thank you.

    @set70     – What worked for me was to completely remove Enfold via FTP and upload a fresh copy. Just make sure you have the child theme in place and activated.

    Hello Ryan, thanks for your message. For now I will stay in version 4.2.2 until a new update. In case the next update continues to give problems, I will follow your advice and delete the enfold folder from the server before uploading the update. Thank you.
