If a place a shortcode [tabslide id=n] on a page, enfold does not take the shortcode. Neither it is executed, nor displayed (of course it should be executed). It does not make any difference whether I put it in a text block or a code block. If I put it in the debugg window, the shortcode is automatically wrapped in a textblock when I save the page..
It works, i.e. the shortcodeist executed, when I switch to the standard editor and save the page then. But then enfold kills some formatting, e.g. the masonry layout on the page and the font properties in the footer. That is obviously no alternative.
(Funny: On some very scarce pages on my site everything works without problems.)
My question: How can I insert a shortcode of a plugin successfully?

April 4, 2015 at 8:44 pm #423508Hi Erich!
we can’t provide support for any third party plugins, but can you please post a link to your website? make sure to use newest WordPress and theme version. Also try to deactivate all other plugins, to make sure none is causing this problem. Please contact the plugin’s author.

AndyApril 4, 2015 at 9:32 pm #423517Hi Andy, I did not ask for support for a third party plugin. As I wrote: If I save the page with the standard edtor, the pluig works just fine. That means to me, that the plugin itself is not the problem. The problem is, that the shortcode ist not executed in some cases.
On my sandbox site without enfold it works just fine, to.Please take a look at http://www.sansolum.de/hobbygaertner
is there not any way to force the execution of a shortcode?
April 6, 2015 at 6:41 pm #424116Hi!
If used inside a codeblock then it should at least be executing (as long as your not disabling shortcode processing in the options).
I would try deactivating all of your other plugins.
If your still having issues with it then it would be best to use the default editor on those specific pages instead of the advanced layout editor.
Cheers!

As I told this was one of the options I tried and that did not work
I would try deactivating all of your other plugins.
And then? I have no unnecessary plugins installed. Do you really want te tell me to sacrifice important features of my site?

What do I have then enfold for? Didi you even read my messages? Wehn I use the standard editor that kills different formats an even layouts on my pages – obviously no goo idea.
Sorry Elliot, but there was not one single useful hint in your message. Just repeating the effort I already made and told you about while neglecting/ignoring the negative side effects is not really helpful.
Semi-off-topic: Why don’t you integrated a sliding widget area in your enfold theme? That would make this great theme even better!

thanks fior your attention. Yes it does, with all the problems I wrote about. You can see that the font-style in the footer is killed – compare to other pages.
And there should be no gap above the 1 Liter offer right next to the picture. Other pages almots totaly crash. For example the masonry on http://www.sansolum.de/unsere-mission/referenzen/ goes crazy when I put the shortcode there,
Again my suggestion: Why don’t you just offer that feature in enfold? You obviously already did develop it when implementing the style-selector on you enfold-demo. It would be great (and I would eeven pay for it – as I did for the slidetabs pluign which is obviously not supported anymore). I think the concept behind the widget slider plugin which creates a seperate widget area might be even better. But that one does not have the flexibility of tabslider…
April 6, 2015 at 11:46 pm #424351For the footer links, add this to Quick CSS:
#top .footer_color a{ color: #676664; font-weight: normal; }
Regarding adding this as an Enfold feature, feel free to request it here as a new feature.
Cheers!
