    hello, I have a password protected page but once I leave the web and re-enter they are accessible, it does not ask for the password.
    what is the problem?

    I have tried with chrome and firefox and if I delete cache and cookies it works, but it does not work with Microsoft edge ¿?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    WordPress automatically creates a unique cookie in your local storage once you successfully accessed a password-protected page, so you don’t have to input the password again when you return, not unless the cookie is removed. The cookie in the local browser storage may look like this.
