    I use columns on many pages and after updating to version 4.8.6.2, the paddings and border colors are not working anymore.
    When I add a padding in the column to ex 7px and set the border to 1px with a color its show correct on preview page.

    But after updating the page it simply not showing any padding or any coloured border.
    What to do?

    The two first images was created before the enfold update and are correct. The image in the bottom is created on version 4.8.6.2 with exactly same padding and border settings as the two first images.

    Hi Rikard,
    I think I have found out the reason for this issue. It’s a browser cache issue, which I never have experienced before.
    If I update the pages normally, then the borders and paddings are not set correctly. Either on Chrome, microsoft Edge og on mobile with IOS Safari. If I purge my host’s cache (Siteground), then the paddings and borders are still not correct.

    But if I clear the browser’s cache, then the paddings and borders are shown correctly. Both on PC Chrome/Edge and on my iPhone. So it is related to cache and I have no clue why this happens.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. So you think the problem is due to local browser cache? If so, does the same thing happen if you load the site in incognito or private browser windows?

    Hi,

    If I load the site in incognito, then all problems with paddings, borders and also other separator lines (I just discovered that this element is also affected) are gone and the page are shown correctly.
    But in normal browser, the paddings, borders, border colors and separator lines are shown incorrectly until I force a cache cleaning on the browser itself.

    I have tried to purge Siteground server cache, but this does not help at all.

    Here is a view of the problem with a separator line. Left view is in normal browser mode, and right is in incognito mode. The incognito mode shows all lines correctly with size and colors.
    The right side only shows the first line correct as I change the line setting for this first, then cleared the Chrome browser cache and then this line shows correctly. The two other lines are the updated, but here I have not cleared the browser cache.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details, and update. I’m seeing the same thing when using regular and incognito windows on my end, so it’s likely that this problem is local to your machine. If changing or restarting your browsers doesn’t help, then please try rebooting any routers in your local network, to see if that helps.
