Hi Enfold team,
unfortunately, the locally hosted videos (mpg4) are not playing in the slide show.
Normally that should work …Is that a bug?
Is there a solution for this?Using:
Enfold 4.2.6
WordPress 4.9.5
PHP 7
Translation Pluin – WPML (latest version)Thank you

April 24, 2018 at 6:37 am #945685Hi cheffe,
Can you try adding this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):
#top .mejs-container { max-height: 100% !important; }
Hope it helps :)
Best regards,
NikkoApril 24, 2018 at 9:25 am #945766Hi Nikko,
thanks for your fast feedback…
The video is now placed correctly with your css code.
But …
1)
The automatic start does not work – you only see a gray background!
You have to start the video manually … and this only works with visible video control bar on the bottom – but this bar should be hidden.2)
I also noticed that on a tablet (ipad) the video and the fallback image can be seen standing one below the other at the same time. And the video does not fill the entire width (see screenshot).
With a Youtube video path you it works fine – you only see the fallback image (which is ok for mobile devices). Is there a solution for these bugs on local mp4 hosted videos?
thx
April 24, 2018 at 3:38 pm #945976updated on enfold 4.3 – bugs still exist
Except that for 2) instead of the fallback image now a line of text is below the video:
[object object]April 26, 2018 at 1:34 am #946978Hi cheffe,
We apologize for the inconvenience. We have already reported this to our devs and they should be working on this as soon as they are done fixing with other issues.
Hope you’ll be patient enough to wait for the fix.Best regards,
