Hi!
Since a few days we have trouble with the Google API key.
Seems that this is a common problem.
We’re getting the error “Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.” So we tried a new one (we did this again and again, even from different PC’s). But after pasting the keys (restricted and unrestricted ones, doesn’t matter) into the Enfold Google Services settings field we still get the above message. (Pressing the “Check API Key” Button gives always an “OK”)
– We followed the instructions to generate a Google API Key
– We enabled Google Maps Javascript API
Credentials follow.
Hope that you can fix this.Best regards

This is your error:RefererNotAllowedMapError
The current URL loading the Google Maps JavaScript API has not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings of your API key on the Google API Console.See API keys in the Google API Console. For more information, see Best practices for securely using API keys.
I checked your API key and it is working:
We were able to properly connect to google maps with your API key
Try following the links in the error message and complete your Domain verification. Note that https and http are different addresses.
Best regards,

I checked the backend as well and I’m getting this error:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
I think this is caused by Geo Mashup plugin conflicting with Enfold, can you try the solution posted here:

Hope this helps.Best regards,

not just the GEO Mashup, also the Events-calendar plugin.
I disabled both AND updated the functions.php.
Seems that everything works now, thank you so much!Best regards
VolkerPS: Where did you get this error message? I’m just curious.
August 24, 2017 at 6:18 pm #843643Hi Volker,
I just edit the page you posted, also it can be any page with a map, just edit it and if your using a chrome browser just right click and inspect element, check for Console and you should see the error there. :)
Best regards,
Nikko -
