Hello there,
first of all: I love your ENFOLD theme :)
But: There are some problems with Internet Explorer:
1. Fonts: I use Open Sans for headlines and Helvetica Neue for body texts. Everything looks great on Firefox and Chrome, but Internet Explorer does not show the correct font.
2. Images: below some images there’s a little strange “cross” icon below the images – but it shows only on Internet Explorer. Thanks a lot in advance for your support.
June 2, 2018 at 3:25 am #965647Hey KELmedia,
I checked your site on both Chrome and IE. I did not notice any difference in the fonts at all.
I noticed the cross below the images. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
VinayJune 3, 2018 at 6:17 pm #966174Dear Vinay,
thanks a lot for your reply.
I changed the body typo to Open Sans – and now it’s displayed porperly even in Internet Explorer …. which is not the best solution for this issue, as the client likes HelveticaNeue more. I’ll switch body typo back to helvetica, so you can see the problem.
Hope to hear from you soon & my kindest regards to you and your team!June 6, 2018 at 5:07 am #967621Hi,
We adjusted the heading fonts settings. It is set to “HelveticaNeue” even on IE.
/*media all*/ h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, #top .title_container .main-title, tr.pricing-row td, #top .portfolio-title, .callout .content-area, .avia-big-box .avia-innerbox, .av-special-font, .av-current-sort-title, .html_elegant-blog #top .minor-meta, #av-burger-menu-ul li.helvetica_neue { font-family: "helvetica neue","HelveticaNeue","Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; }
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 6, 2018 at 6:51 am #967663Hi Ismael,
thank you – but unfortunately I’m still having the same issue – checked site on Firefox and IE but the fonts (headings + body) are still displayed differently on both browsers (deleted browser cache of course). Besides, I want to use Helvetica Neue as body typo, headings were Open Sans (now changed to Helvetica Neue). Plus: the “little cross issue” is still there….
Sorry for bothering you again but both typo and little cross issue should be solved soon. Thanks again & my best regards to you and your team
June 9, 2018 at 4:22 pm #970446Hi,
While investigating the IE issues, I found that you had 3 hidden images under the 3 profile images, that were only visible with the debugger on. I’m not sure how they were put there, but I cleared them and the page seems to be correct now.
Please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
MikeJune 10, 2018 at 3:09 pm #970776Hello Mike,
that’s strange – I don’t know either, where these hidden images came from … maybe that happened through saving and using the page template in page builder? Never had this issue before and I’m so grateful that you fixed it for me :)
the typo issue with Helvetica Neue on IE is still there … Ismael’s workaround seems not to work.
Maybe you could let me know if you gonna try to fix it. Otherwise I’ll use Open Sans for headings and body – which works on IE as well.
Please note, that by now typo is changed so if you’ll work on it, you just have to switch back body typo to Helvetica Neue. Thanks :)Thanks a lot in advance & my best wishes to you and your team!

June 12, 2018 at 8:22 pm #971809Hi,
From a quick search it seems that the font type depends on the way of the Mac.
So based on the name, it loads a different way.
I think we do need a little bit of more time to find out a proper manage on that.Best regards,
BasilisJune 13, 2018 at 9:36 am #972144Hi Basilis,
thank you for checking the issue one more time.
That’s ok – I’ll change the typo to Open Sans.
Would be great, if you let me know when you have a solution :)My best wishes to you and your team,
