Hi
We have configured our blog page so that it should look like this http://smartech-energy.co.uk/news-test/, (e.g. a small preview of each article with a right hand side bar) but when we send the page live it automatically changes and looks like this http://smartech-energy.co.uk/latest-news-events/. In the template configuration setting we have set it to use the advance layout editor in our own blog layout, but this does not seem to work.
How can we fix this?

Thank you for using Enfold.
If you want to show the “timeline” on the right side of the blog, you should enable the right sidebar. Full width pages doesn’t support the timeline feature.

You need to set the Blog Style on Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Style setting. Please take some time to review all of the resources in the Theme Documentation. A lot of basic stuff like theme installation, element configuration, options overview, css snippets and whole lot of handy stuff regarding the theme are probably available in there. You can watch video tutorials or get hold of a few hooks and filter functions that may help you modify the theme as you like. You can also search the forum for any related questions or issues.

Thanks for the information but as mentioned in my previous message I have set the correct configuration settings according to your instructions, e.g. in Blog Style setting I have it set to “Use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout”. I then configured the page accordingly to Single Author, small preview Pic (no author pic is displayed, featured image is small) to show, or Excerpt with Read More Link, however it shows all of the full article instead of a short preview.
Following all of your instructions and guides I have got to this point, but it is still not working which is why I need your help
