    I just updated my enfold theme (3.0.8) to 3.2.2 and I also update my wordpress from 4.2 to the latest version.

    Now I run into 2 problems:

    1) Avia is not working anymore – when I want to edit a page/post I get blank part and details related to Avia builder

    2) I have lost all my widget content – they are all empty now – this applies to pages/footers

    I’m using a child theme for Enfold
    I moved the version of Enfold to \themes\archives
    I moved the latest version of Enfold to \themes
    This is what I always do for a Theme update.

    Any suggestions of what could her wrong

    Hi stedia!

    I can not connect to that FTP at all.
    most probably we need to disable the plugins folder and everything will be working.

    I have created some additional Widgets to be used.

    I don’t why all my widgets are not active anymore – but I do see the content still in the deactivated widget area.
    However, when I create the widget again, I do get the name that is extended with a number, because it exist.

    What is the trick to get the already created widgets back in place.

    My first priority is now to get the widgets back in place, as half of all my pages are blank now.

    I have renamed my plugin and I have reloaded the page and indeed it was working.
    I do see all my widgets are also back in place.

    Thanks for the quick support – and now I will go for my diner as it is already Friday evening here !!!

    I was to quick …. the avia builder is indeed working. I can select the widgets in the page, but the content is not there.

    So the question remains – How can I restore the content and the original names of my widgets so I don’t have to change all my pages?

    Hi,

    The builder is working fine on my end, could you try to hard refresh the page or empty your browser cache to see if that helps?

    I have deleted all the cache but no difference.

    Avai builder is working, but I’m still missing my widgets.

    How can I reactivate the manual created widgets?

    Hi,

    There are a few inactive widgets if you scroll to the bottom of the widgets page, are those the ones you are missing? If so try to drag them back to their locations.

    You are correct – I didn’t see the ones that I have created before – So I have dragged the inactive to the right widgets and it is all in place.

    The only question that is left – why are my widgets made empty after the update of Enfold en WP?

    Hi,

    A few WordPress updates ago the requirements for widgets changed and that unfortunately made them lose their “place”. It shouldn’t happen when you update again so you have nothing to worry about.
