Hello,
when I add some Quick CSS via the theme options, it only works in the language I saved the settings for the last time. We are using the WPML-Plugin for the translated pages and added the CSS for the “Anfrage senden”-Button by changing the background color of the element (CSS-Code in Private Content). The CSS-code for the other languages differ a little bit because of a different element ID, but it still only works in the language for which we save the theme options (Quick CSS) for the last time.
Are you already aware of this issue and will it be fixed with the next update?
Best regards

That is actually the way it’s supposed to work. It means that you can have different CSS for the different languages.

RikardFebruary 23, 2022 at 9:49 am #1341959Hey Rikard,
thank you for your quick response. Well the problem is, that I have added different CSS for each language (CSS-Codes in private content). But as you can see on the website it is only in German with green background color. I saved the theme options for quick CSS the last time in German so the CSS works for that language. If I save it for example while English language is selected then the button would only be green on the English site (no longer on German and French site).
I actually wanted different CSS for the different languages but there is actually a problem with the settings. Don’t you think it’s a bug?
Best regards
February 23, 2022 at 1:18 pm #1341992Hi,
Your CSS seems to be correct, but it’s not applying in the English language. I see that your CSS is cached/minified, did you try to clear and/or disable that temporarily? If you need further help, then please include admin WordPress login details in private.

RikardFebruary 23, 2022 at 3:43 pm #1342010Hi Rikard,
I disabled that CSS is cached/minified and cleared the cache but it didn’t work. WordPress Login in private.
Thank you in advance and best regards

Thanks for that. I cleared the cache from your caching plugin, and the CSS is applying now. Please review your site.

RikardFebruary 24, 2022 at 9:15 am #1342120Hi,
I reviewed the site but it’s still the same problem. The button is now green for English language but the CSS is not applied for the German and French site.
I guess you saved the settings for the last time while English language was selected.I will save in German so that at least that button is green again. Do you have any other ideas?
Best regards and thank you for your support
February 25, 2022 at 4:29 am #1342215Hi,
The button is now green for English language but the CSS is not applied for the German and French site.
Did you also add the css in the German and French theme options? Please note that each language has its own theme options and its own Quick CSS field as Rikard mentioned above, so the css modification should be added in every language unless you are using a child theme. If a child theme is active, you can add the css modification in the style.css file instead. The css will then be applied throughout the site or in every active language.

IsmaelFebruary 25, 2022 at 9:14 am #1342243Hi,
the button is now green in German language because thats the language in which I last saved the enfold theme settings. Like you can see above there are different CSS added via quick CSS in each language. There should be no child theme but I tried to add the CSS in custom.css (because in style.css is mentioned: “* PLEASE DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE!”) but it didn’t work neither.Best regards
February 26, 2022 at 6:47 pm #1342410Hi,
Thanks for the update. Could you share FTP login details with us as well please? We would like to download all the WPML plugins you are using, so that we can try to reproduce the problem on a test installation.

RikardFebruary 28, 2022 at 9:22 am #1342516Hi,
unfortunately I cannot share FTP login details, but I shared a list in Private with all the installed plug-ins.

Best regardsFebruary 28, 2022 at 5:27 pm #1342589Hi,
I went to Enfold theme options > Advanced Styling and edited “Menu Item Button” for each language and that worked. Could you please review your website and confirm?
We will test it on our local installations and will report to our devs if we can reproduce the issue :)

YigitFebruary 28, 2022 at 5:42 pm #1342590Hi,
yes, that worked. Thank you very much. But it seems only to work for German and French language settings without Quick CSS.
I deleted the Quick CSS for each language and then in English the button was no longer green anymore. After adding Quick CSS in English and saved also that button was green again.
That case seems to be a little strange but I am happy it works now.
Thanks once again and best regards :-)
February 28, 2022 at 5:55 pm #1342591Hi,
I forgot to switch menu style to Colored in English version, that is why CSS was needed – https://imgur.com/a/uvtMDHQ. I switched it to Colored, removed custom CSS from English version and it works as expected in all languages :)
You are welcome! Let us know if you have any other questions and enjoy the rest of your day :)
Best regards,
