after updating the site doesn’t load in various browsers. Keep looking at that preload circle.
What could be the matter?

Could you please try updating the theme to the latest version 4.7.2 and check if that helps – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/?
If you run into issues again, please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it :)
