Hello, I proceeded to purchase the Enfold theme, but I have a problem:
when I add the theme to WordPress the zip file I downloaded ( Themeforest-AJdiiSut-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme) doesn’t work correctly … when I click on “install now” it seems to try to install but after a few seconds the message “The link you followed has expired” appears …
How can I solve the problem?

Are you sure that you are using the correct file? The file you downloaded from Themeforest might have to be extracted, then the installable .zip file will be located in the extracted folder.

Please do the following:
1. right-click over the themeforest-OjxFUk9U-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme zip file and extract/unzip it.
2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip

I don’t want there to be a file size issue, that it’s too big
I contacted my hosting’s support service to find out if I need to increase my hosting’s file upload sizeHI,
here I am again, I contacted my hosting and proceeded to increase the file upload size up to 1 gb, but the problem persists.
I have also updated wordpress to the latest version and done updates of all plugins.. what else can i do?Hi,
Thanks for that. I’ve only tried the WordPress login details so far, but they don’t seem to be working. Please check and verify that all login details are working.

Thanks for that. I checked the wordpress.com account. Those details seem to be working, but there are no sites in that account.

Thanks for the update. I still can’t login to WordPress unfortunately, did you verify the login details? If you did and they are working, then your hosting provider or something else might be blocking access. I’m getting a regular WordPress login error though, please see private.
We can’t login into your Themeforest account, since it’s asking for a passcode as well.
If you could share working FTP login details with us, then we could upload the theme files to your server for you.

Rikardthe accounts I sent you, the usernames and passwords are all working, so probably if you can’t log in it’s because trying to do it from a different position than usual the system blocks access
I tried several times to download the enfold .zip file from the themeforest site but the file that is downloaded does not contain any enfold.zip file inside
at this point I hope you can send me a working .zip file or you can download the correct file on my hosting.

Thanks for that, the FTP details are missing a password though. Please include that in private as well, then we can upload the latest version of the theme for you.

Thanks for that. The FTP login details are working, but the directory which it leads to is empty, and there is no way to navigate anywhere.

I don’t know where the FTP coordinates I sent to you take you, I’m not a programmer and I’m not even a computer expert.
I limited myself to sending you the FTP coordinates that my Hosting Register.it provided me with.
What I know is that I bought a domain (spiritoeventi.it) and a hosting space, I then bought the Enfold theme on Themeforest on 19 July 2023, I followed the normal procedure to download the files and upload them to wordpress, but the files do not work!
There is no .zip file in the folder you let me download!
I therefore ask you to email me or log into my themeforest account and make sure that I receive the correct Enfold theme files.
I already used Enfold to build a site 4 years ago and haven’t had any problems.
Otherwise I will be forced to ask you for a refund of the money spent to purchase a different theme.

Thanks for the update and clarification. If you can’t provide us with working FTP login details, then we can’t upload the theme files for you, it’s as simple as that. If the FTP login details that your got from your hosting provider leads to the wrong place on the server, then please continue the discussion with them, because we have to control over your hosting account.

Thanks for that. I created a new FTP account, please see private. Those details are working, and lead to the root folder. I can see that Enfold is uploaded there already though, so we would need access to the actual WordPress site in order to help you out further. I checked the previous WordPress login details that you posted, but they are still not working unfortunately.
