Hi!
I just have updated to the 4.8.1 version, few days ago, and I have and issue with de block text. I can´t insert buttons (simple or full-width) in the text area. The block editor let me inserting icons and all other options, except buttons.I would really appreciatte your help!

Hi Lucía,
I’m not sure I understand the problem you are having. You are using a Text Block element, and you are in the Text tab in the editor? If that is the case, then you need to switch to the Visual tab, then add the button using the Magic Wand tool.
If I have misunderstood you, then please try to explain the problem a bit further, or post a screenshot highlighting it.

Thank you for your answer. I think I haven´t explained quite good the issue.
The problem is that after the update, the Magic Wand tool don´t work properly, because I can´t add buttons with it. Also, now that I am checking, I can´t add separator either.You can enter in my place to check it if you need.

Thanks for the update. I created a test page, please see private. I can’t see any problems on that page though, could you let us know exactly how to reproduce the problem that you are seeing on your end please?

Thanks for your answer and por creating the testing page.
It´s strange… maybe it´s something in my computer or navigator (I use Google Chrome). I´ve created a video that shows what happens to me (see my private content).I will check ir the is any pop up fire wall or something…
If you have other ideas I would appreciate.Regards,

Thanks for the video and update. I’m using Chrome as well, but it’s working as it should on my end. Could you try using an incognito window, or try restarting it, to see if that helps please?

I´ve tried with incognito window and it works! It works also with firefox navigator.
