Hi there,
First of all, I love the theme. Great work!
After upgrading to the latest version, I’ve encountered two problems:
1. Single posts aren’t displayed correctly any more. The content is cut off at the right side. You can have a look at it here for example: http://pala.mischamandl.de/wie-es-sein-sollte/
Blog post overview is fine, as you can see here: http://pala.mischamandl.de/schnipsel/, but single posts are not (just click one of the single posts to see what I mean).
Was working fine up until 3.5.x2. On some pages/posts, when I try to activate the advanced layout editor, I get the following error message:
Warning: preg_replace(): Compilation failed: regular expression is too large at offset 51501 in /www/…/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/template-builder.class.php on line 717I’d appreciate any help. Thanks!

March 22, 2016 at 10:30 pm #602185Hey blogwart!
Can u please provide us with backend and ftp access so we can give a look at the issue?
Thanks a lotRegards,
BasilisMarch 22, 2016 at 10:34 pm #602192Sure, here you go.
You can reproduce the preg_replace error by trying to edit this post: http://pala.mischamandl.de/als-die-enten-den-teich-verliessen/
By far the longest post I have, maybe related to that?- This reply was modified 8 years, 8 months ago by blogwart. Reason: Deleted the login info. If you still need it, please tell me
March 22, 2016 at 10:46 pm #602205In case you use Tiny MCE Advanced, turn it off. It ruins Enfold 3.5 page builder results.
March 23, 2016 at 10:20 am #602418Hi
@oroshazimedia are you sure?
I’m using TinyMCE Advanced with Enfold since 5 years without any issues… But maybe you can tell me more about this?
ThanksMarch 23, 2016 at 10:52 am #602433I wrote this yesterday here in the forum:
March 23, 2016 at 12:06 pm #602463I don’t use it.
March 23, 2016 at 5:34 pm #602659Any fix on the horizon?
I’m not trying to apply pressure here, I just want to know what to do. My site is practically not usable right now.
I’d restore a backup so that everything works again, but then you’ll not be able to reproduce what I’m talking about.
Any advice?March 23, 2016 at 5:44 pm #602672hello @blogwart
I’m not from Enfold support team, but could you try (as a quick fix workaround) to add this CSS to the Quich Enfold CSS?.responsive .container { max-width: 1193px !important; }
I just try it live on you website and it solved the issue you have…
… my 2 cents…
March 23, 2016 at 5:48 pm #602678Yay, thank you pako69. That does the trick for now.
The other issue remains though.
Edit: Well, that only works on desktop, still broken on mobile.

March 23, 2016 at 5:55 pm #602684It does not do the trick totally, try to reduce the widh of you browser and the but still there, and you site is broken under mobile view, add this too:
.html_header_sidebar .av_default_container_wrap, .html_header_sidebar .container_wrap_first { float: none !important; }
March 23, 2016 at 6:00 pm #602693Turns out it’s enough to apply the second of your fixes (float:none), the first one is not required. Now it’s okay on desktop and mobile. Thank you very much.
Of course, the preg_replace error is still there.
March 23, 2016 at 6:03 pm #602697You’re welcome :-)
For you other bug, I’m afraid I can’t help… But just be sure to re-upload a fresh ans last Enfold 3.5.1, then clear totaly you cache browser…March 24, 2016 at 10:01 pm #603456March 29, 2016 at 10:08 pm #604799Tried that and I’m afraid it doesn’t make a difference.
March 30, 2016 at 7:55 pm #605413Hey!
you are using a caching Plugin, so go into plugin’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Deactivate this and all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.
If that does not help there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Best regards,
AndyMarch 30, 2016 at 8:02 pm #605416I tried the first tip already, turned caching off, cleared the cache, disabled the plugin and so on, no joy.
I’ll do the FTP update now and will let you know if it makes a difference.
Thanks so far.
Nope, I still get
Warning: preg_replace(): Compilation failed: regular expression is too large at offset 51501 in /www/htdocs/.../wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/template-builder.class.php on line 717

March 31, 2016 at 7:37 pm #606145Hey!
an update via FTP is not enough when there are corrupted files. Its important do completely delete all theme files, before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Let us know when you are ready.
Cheers!
