    Hi,
since I have updated enfold my website (webshop) is not displayed correctly.
There seems to be a conflict with the plugin WooCommerce. I deactivated
all plugins except WooCommerce. Enfold was also activated. With this
constellation the problem occured. Since then almost nobody is buying from
    my webshop.
How can I get help? I would be very grateful for an early response.
    With best regards

    Hey Stephan,

Could you post screenshots highlighting the problems on your site please?

    Best regards,

    Hello Rikard,
thank you for answering. How can I post the screenshots?
I have not found a function to upload it.
    Best regards

    Hi Stephan,

You can upload screenshots using online image sharing platforms like: Imgur or Savvyify then post the link in private content.

Also, please go to Enfold (Theme Options) > Performance > CSS File Merging And Compression and select Disable – no CSS file merging and compression then save, and see if this helps fix the problem.

    Hi Nikko,
thank you so much. The website is diplayed correctly after I disabled the CSS compression, as you advised me. Small measure, big impact. Should I keep this setting permanently? It certainly had a use, but I don’t know it (anymore). If it’s not too complicated: Is there an article about what to consider when updating enfold? I always have to do it via FTP because the dashboard shows that the theme is up to date. Which is often not true. I only find out about an update through your email. Thanks for that!
    Best regards, Stephan

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Did you activate the option to delete old CSS and JS files on the bottom of the same page? If not, then please try to activate that, then enable file compression again to see what happens then.

About updates; did you register your theme license? If not, then please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. If the updates are still not coming through after that, then please try using this plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello Rikard,
the option to delete old CSS and JS files was activated. I deactivated it, as it is only recommended if no cache plugin is used. I use cache enabler. Then I reactivated the option CSS File Merging And Compression. The result was, that nothing changed in the display of the website, but it is faster than before (Pingdom Website Speed Test, Page Speed Insights). Does that make sense?
    Thank you and best regards
    Stephan

    Hi Stephan,

Yes it makes sense, since that option makes the stylesheet compressed and fetching time is reduced, so it has an impact with performance.

    Hello Rikard,
I generated a token and replaced the old API key with it. This API key is no longer in use, as I have learned. So from now on it will be possible to make updates from the WordPress backend (withour FTP)?
    Best regards,
    Stephan

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Yes, updates should come through if your token is correct. If not, then please use the plugin I linked to earlier in this thread.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
