Hello:
I just installed Enfold, created a child theme and imported the demo content. Everything seems to work so far except the menue: all menue items are listed simultanously so that the there is e broad area in the top of the site with the menue items that lays over the content.I checked it out with different header settings as well as with different browsers – the effects remains always the same.
As I didn’t make any settings so far: do I need a plugin or what could cause this effect?
BR + thanks for you help Clemens

August 29, 2014 at 1:15 pm #310902Do you mind sharing the solution? :)
I also have the same problem on a newly installed site…August 29, 2014 at 1:17 pm #310904Hi!
@forestc Please scroll down and check “Enfold Main Menu” in Menu Settings – http://i.imgur.com/Q9mYVQ0.png and it should put your menu items in orderBest regards,
YigitAugust 29, 2014 at 1:23 pm #310908.. you only have to go under Design-Menue and adjust the structure of the menue by dragging and dropping the different elements to the suitable positions. The effect is not an failure. It only requires the correct the menue structure…

Yes, as @muuclemens recommended, you should add some of your menu items as sublevel as shown in here – http://i.imgur.com/qZsUQQN.png
Cheers!
YigitJuly 19, 2018 at 4:16 pm #987461Hello: again I have a problem with my header, this time with the breadcrumbs.
A switched breadcrumbs on in both, theme settings and page settings. Now in some cases breadcrumbs are shown, in others not. I tried to add some code to functions.php as suggested in another thread. However it didn’t work.
Details are in private content.July 19, 2018 at 4:26 pm #987469Hi,
Please edit your page with no breadcrumb and click “Screen options” on the top right corner and check “Custom Fields” and then scroll down and check if “header” is set to “no” – https://i.imgur.com/AtqncTW.png. If it is, please change it to “yes” and update your page.
If that does not help, please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it :)
Best regards,
YigitJuly 19, 2018 at 8:53 pm #987624Hi Yigit:
I did as you recommended. together with some additional settings it worked at the end. However I didn’t really understand what I was doing there. In most cases there were more than 1 (up to 4 ) fields “header” per page. In these cases I deleted the redundant (?!) fields until there were only one field “Header” left. I hope this doesnt corrupt the database or has other bad impacts?
Apart from that: thanks!July 21, 2018 at 8:18 pm #988205Hi muuclemens,
Glad you got it working for you! :)
No, there should not be such an issue with the database.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
