Problem working with Dynamic Content on Advanced LayerSlider

Hi there,

I realize that this is my second question concerning the Advanced LayerSlider.

I like the idea of creating my own little custom grid with dynamic content (post, pages,) on my home page. I understand that with the dynamic content option, this should be possible.

However, whenever I’m trying to work with the placeholders and the appropriate selections under the configure post options, the [excerpt] placeholder, for instance, won’t show any results, although it shows up correctly in the preview section.

Moreover, whenever I’m trying to style any of these placeholders via HTML/CSS, it only shows the actual placeholder instead of the content. For instance <h2>[title]</h2>

I’m working with something like:

[title]
[excerpt]

I would be super happy, if I could just create the dynamic content on these slides exactly as they’re shown in the preview.

Can you help? Where am I going wrong here?

I tried to find some information on the subject online, but no luck ☹
