Hi – on this website I started to get problems with pages not saving properly and then got the message: Are you sure you want to do this – please try again every time I tried to save. I followed the instructions to update the Theme by uploading the Theme files manually – other than a small amount of custom css I hadn’t changed any core files but it still wiped out all of the Theme customisations in the Theme panel. I also turned the Permalinks on but the .htaccess file seems to be okay. I’m slowly putting that right and I also updated to WordPress 4.1 – however – I’m still getting the same error messages and can’t save changes or create new pages – can you help?!
Thank you.

February 3, 2015 at 2:13 pm #390067Hi, in the end I logged out of my browser, turned the computer off and logged back in. This cleared the problem of not being able to save/create new pages, but there is still something very wrong. For example, on the Home Page, I want to edit the images on the slider, so I change them. Save the page. I then decide to go back in and edit the images in the gallery on that page. Save the page. View the page and it has wiped out the changes that I made to the slider and reverted back to the original images. I also need to edit the footer. Every time I save a change in the Enfold Theme settings, it wipes out other settings or sets it back to default settings.
Please help! I need to get this website finished for my client!
Thank you.

February 3, 2015 at 10:04 pm #390401Hey!
I logged in and edited some stuff but everything seems to be updating correctly.
Try deactivating your plugins and make sure to clear your browser cache after updating and try it again.
Cheers!
ElliottFebruary 14, 2015 at 12:55 am #396062Hey, I saw a lot of comments about WP failing to upload zipped theme. I also tried all the fixes out there — no joy until I went simple! I unzipped the theme folder (enfold.zip), then FTP’d the enfold folder to public_html / themes. Went back to WP control panel, and voila — Enfold theme available.
Also…if you’re using FileZilla … looks like version 3.10 is busted – always timed out regardless of tweaking. I downgraded to 3.08; works like a champ.
Cheers and be well! Mark
