hello , at the homepage of my site there is this video (mp4).
its the background of a content section.
I run the movie via youtube.
its not that big, 5mb (after compressing it twice), but some (slow) computers have problems with it.
(ive tested it and some browsers, mainly Opera, but also IE and Chrome, have problem displaying it / loading it quickly.
I dont know in what way this could be browser-related but that is what is happening on my pc anyway. Sometimes there is this green rectangle, sometimes the view is shaky. Ive ran a test deactivating all plugins but the problem is quite persistent).

question is: how to make a fallback image for it? (see a pic while the video is loading).
I want visitors to see an image while the video is loading.
    b. moreover, i cant hear the sound, while when i play the video directly in windows there is sound. Is the browser handling this?

    best regards, jelle

    Hey jelle,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the late reply!

I added the code I shared in private content field to the bottom of Quick CSS field. You can simply replace the URL of the image to display another one.

    Please review your website :)

    Best regards,

thanks yigit, and this soundlessness…is this due to the browser? I mean, is the browser responsible for this?

    Hi,

Yes, that is because of browser policy. Only muted videos are allowed to play automatically on page load. Please check the following article for more info about the autoplay policy.
