    Hi,

    I’m using the google font “open sans”, which should be able to show special characters as ë and é. But those characters are replaced bij a questionmark, as not possible to show.

    What can I do about this? Trying out the font at goole, does show those characters.

    You can see it at http://bit.ly/1KDB7nr clicking on the green block with “embedded C/C++…..”

    Hey erwin_m!

    can you provide us admin access so we can check what’s going on? does it happen for “ä” and “ö” too?
    Try to deactivate all plugins to check if one is causing this issue. Post login details here as private reply. Upgrade to Enfold v3.2.3.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve leaved for a holiday today, don’t have the credentials with me. I will get back to you soon as I got home. Hoped that someone had a quick answer, as I’m often get from you great support!

    Hey!

    Please do not use just open sans, but use Open Sans Condensed which will show that characters correctly as it seems!

    Hi Basilis,

    Thanks for thinking with me.

    My art-director is gonna kill me! First he wanted to use clan ot. Because of that one is not really available as webfont, he choosen “open sans”, but when he hasnto choose again another font, there’s gonna be a hole in the roof

    Hi,

    I’m back from my vacations for a little while and fixed some other things. Now it’s time to look at this problem again.

    It’s a strange problem. The special characters do show up in each post and page except in a special kind of posts. See the screenshot of this.

    When I click on a green block, the post will show up, but without the special characters. When i view the post directly, then the characters are shown.

    I don’t know if this has something to do with your theme, but any help I can get would be more then welcome!

    Hi,

    I am told that this is an issue with the language switch. I have installed WPML and then Enfold puts in the lnguageswitch, which works great.

    But how can this effect my special characters? And how can I fix this?

    Think I’ve got it.
