Ismael,
I’ve checked, you’re working in the correct files, I see in the files your changes. Why changes are not visible, please tell me I really don’t know!
I checked but the sorting is also not working in parent theme.Regards,

January 25, 2016 at 12:07 pm #571269Hey!
Did you disable the child theme? The site looks different and the file that we modified still didn’t change anything. Did you develop the site or did you hire someone to do it? Is there any kind of server cache? I’m sorry but we can’t do anything unless we can access the files via FTP. I’ll ask the rest of the support team to check. Maybe I’m missing something.

I’m the developer. There is basic caching but it’s all disabled now for test.
You are accessing the correct files on FTP. There is no more. Please let me know. I’ve putted the child-theme back so the layout is fixed now. I was testing if the problem was with the child-theme only.

KeesJanuary 27, 2016 at 8:11 am #572652Hi!
I removed every code in the child theme’s header.php file and the site is still working. This should break the whole website but it’s not happening in your installation. You can check the header.php file yourself. Please hire a freelance developer to modify the site. http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

I did Some more research. I see the functions.php from the child-theme doesn’t work. But the stylesheet does.
Can you or someone else please check this first? If that works I can decide to hire somebody or not.

KeesFebruary 1, 2016 at 7:00 am #575572Hey!
I actually removed the header.php file of the child theme and the parent theme and the site didn’t break, which means it’s either hard cached or we are on the wrong file server. I strongly suggest that you hire a freelance developer to investigate the issue. Thank you for your understanding.

I already hired somebody. But the problem is in the theme he told me. Please stop telling you are on the wrong file server, you’re on the right server. Try to make an change in the stylesheet of the child-theme.

Removing the header.php file should break the site but it’s not the case in your installation. Please check the parent theme’s header.php. I renamed it to header1.php file, but it didn’t do anything to the site. If we are on the correct file server, the site would not be running right now because there’s no scripts, stylesheets and a lot of the essential markup are missing.
Cheers!
IsmaelJuly 19, 2019 at 7:01 am #1120063Hello, I have updated my enfold theme to the latest version, but the portfolio sort options failed to work still. When I use the portfolio grid to show portfolio items within only one category, it works fine. But if i selected display sort option or display sort options and currently active categories, the live page will only show ALL filter without sorting function.
Please help!
July 19, 2019 at 12:48 pm #1120161Hi,
@chinovtech: Did you update the theme manually? Try to remove the theme folder completely before uploading the latest version. Please create your own thread and we’ll continue there. We’ll close this one now. Thank you.Best regards,
