    Hello,

    I found I could not edit the footer of my webpage today. I edited my footer maybe a half year ago, but I cannot edit my footer again now. When I went to the widget in my dashboard, I could not find the content that I had edited before, and it showed some messages like followings,

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I see warnings under Appearance->Widgets as well, I’m not sure what is causing those warnings though. Could you try to disable all plugins to see if that makes any difference please? Also make sure that you have turned off debugging in WordPress: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

    Hi,

    The footer column 2 is blank in the widget area but still shows my pages on my website. How do I delete the pages widget if it’s not appearing in my column 2? Please advise.

    Hi Roland,

    The footer widgets are automatically populated if empty, if you want them empty then you add an empty HTML widget for example.
