    Hello,
I didn’t find a solution for this problem:
We are using the widget event list (TEC) in sidebar, showing a maximum of 5 events of a particular category, entering in the settings of the widget.
The list is correct when using logger as theme, see here: https://aachenerkinder.de/
This website is still in development, using enfold: http://aachen50plus.de/test_seiten/

I have provide a temporary admin login in private reply so that you can take a closer look.
We want to change the theme to enfold in the live version in a few days
    Thanks for any advice.

    Best regards
    Hans-Gerd

    Hey hagege,

you are using a caching Plugin, so go into plugin’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Deactivate this and all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hey Andy,
    thanks for reply.
We have tested everything (deactivating cachify and other plugins, clearing the browser cache etc., trying on several notebooks, tablets, computers) you have proposed, unfortunately without success.
Do you still have any other ideas?

    Best regards,
    Hans-Gerd

    Hi,

Both sites are using Enfold but I can only see the events widget on one site. Have you tried to contact the plugin author regarding the issue? It will help if they can provide any info about the problem.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,
we have changed to enfold last night.
Now we have disabled the widget on our website, because the maximal number of events (30 events) will be shown otherwise.
But the problem seems to be related to enfold because it worked under theme logger perfect.
On the website, where we are testing, the problem is seen in the sidebar.

Thanks anyway for this great theme :-)

    Best regards
    Hans-Gerd

    Hi,

Thank you for the info. How did you fix it? Did you modify the plugin scripts?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,
yes, I modified the php-script list-widget.php in child-theme, see following line:
    // Maximal 5 Events
    in private content.
    Best regards

    Hi!

I see. If you can override the template in a child theme then I think you’re good to go. This is an issue if you have to edit the template directly. Thanks for sharing. :)

    Cheers!

    Hi Ismael,
you’re right, but it is obviously not a good form of programming to solve this problem: break :-(
But ok, for the moment at least it works.

    Best regards,
    Hans-Gerd
