    Hi, I have been using Enfold for 5 years and I love it, thanks for your awesome theme, it’s the best. Now I have a problem, my advanced layout editor has stopped working. I downloaded the latest update and updated my site to the latest version of WordPress but it still doesn’t work. Do you have a solution to suggest me?

    Hi sergiostraface,

    Right now you’re still running a very old version of Enfold that is not built to work with this version of WordPress. You need to update php to php7.2 or higher, make a full website backup, and attempt an update.

    If you run into issues please share FTP credentials with us and we will try to help.

    One thing to check is whether you have any out-dated plugins. I had a similar issue where the advanced layout editor did not load. I checked the browser console and saw a Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).live is not a function error.     I removed the out-dated plugin that was responsible for the error and the advanced layout editor loaded up.

    thanks for your advice. I tried to deactivate the plugins on my site at various times but I have not had any results.

    It seems like you are still running Enfold 3.4.7 on your installation. Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 4.7.6.4.
