    Hi there,

I’m using a standard website I did for a client to reproduce the structure for further clients, then change content. I clone the site with Updraftsplus plugin then set it up on a new domain and change all content from there.

On the site https://villaitaly.it/ when you hover over the search box in the main menu and type in “Ischia” and click on “all results” it opens up the results page – see https://villaitaly.it/?s=ischia

if you check result #6 (Torre dell’aquila Ischia) it shows the description related to the other site I used for cloning. I think it’s a meta description, but if I edit the related page https://villaitaly.it/torre-dell-aquila-ischia/ using Yoast SEO to change the metadescription, it actually shows the correct meta (Villa Torre dell’Aquila – 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, sleeps 10. Ideal for couples and families seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.Private, spacious, romantic) whereas on the search page it shows the incorrect meta description (CASA LUNA | Cozy self-catering apartment set in lush gardens with a unique swimming pool | spectacular, unforgettable views over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Morocco.)

    How can I correct this?

    Hey Antonio,
The text is in your manual excerpt, I checked the box in your screen options at the top of that page & you will see the excerpt field at the bottom of the page. To solve, just remove it.

    Best regards,
    Mike
