Hi Kriesi team,
I have a problem with a one-page site and the main navigation.
The anchor links in the top navigation are working fine, the problem is the highlighting.
After using a link the highlight in the menue is flickering between home and the klicked item. The highlight stops sometimes at home position, sometimes at the right position, sometimes randomly at a wrong position.
Sometimes (but not very often) the navigation works properly.
Link: http://www.bella-luxe.com
the layer slider, on top is linked directly (like all other sections) — http://www.bella-luxe.com/en/vienna/#layerslider_5
do you have any idea to solve the problem?
It is quite urgent..Thanks in advance for your help.
Maybe important: The problem existed before we used the polylang plugin.

February 29, 2016 at 12:11 pm #590671Hi Kriesi team,
I found a topic in the support-forum that handles exactly the same problem I discribed in my further post.I tried the final offered solution (empty color section on top with new ID) but it didn´t solve my problem.
would be nice if someone could help!
kind regardsMarch 1, 2016 at 7:15 am #591370Hi!
Remove the layer slider link from home and just add # it should automatically scroll to top if you have any issues please create a temporary user with ‘administrator’ role and share in private content with permission to deactivate all plugins and add custom code if necessary to help you resolve this issue

Vinay KashyapMarch 4, 2016 at 10:10 pm #593553Hi Vinnie, thanks for your reply.
The hint with the # didn`t work, the scrolling effect was gone and the discribed failure in the navigation was still there. It is really strange: yesterday the navigation worked for a few hours but then the problem started again. Sometimes it works for a while after resizing the browser window but at the moment the highlight is flickering again and shows the wrong topic. I created a new account, please check the details in the Private content. You can deactivate the plugins and add custom code if you need to.
Thank you
BerndMarch 8, 2016 at 10:54 pm #595218Hey!
I checked your website but could not see any highlighting which is flickering. Anchor links are working fine for me on your site. Could you fix it? Which browser and OS are you using? can you highlight using screenshots please? use imgur.com or dropbox.
Cheers!
AndyMarch 10, 2016 at 5:01 pm #596374Hi andy thanks for your reply,
this is really strange, i just checked the website again and it shows the same problems as discribed. I checked it on a Macbook pro with os 10.10.5, on a pc with windows 7 professional and on an ipad
Browsers: firefox, safari, chrome. The result was everywhere the same:
– Click on a topic
– The site scrolls to the right position
– while scrolling the navigation highlight flickers between home and the clicked topic
– mostly the highlight stops at home
– sometimes the highlight stops at the right place
– sometimes there is no highlight
– sometimes it stops at the topic left of the clicked onewhile scrolling manually the highlight jumps every few pixels between home and the right topic.
Find a few screenshots on my dropbox..please help..!
Thank you
BerndMarch 10, 2016 at 5:27 pm #596395Hey!
try to deactivate all plugins, to check if one is causing this issue and let us know about your results. If that does not help send us admin access, so we can take a deeper look into it.
Cheers!
AndyMarch 30, 2016 at 10:47 am #605069Hi Andy, thanks for your reply.
I deactivated all plugins as possible. It was impossible to deactivate the Polylang Plugin but the problem was already existing before we used the Plugin. Here one topic from your support-forum which describes exactly my problem.
Would be nice if you could take a look inside.
Thank you
BerndMarch 30, 2016 at 12:02 pm #605100Hey!
there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Cheers!
AndyMarch 30, 2016 at 10:39 pm #605519Hi Andy, I updated enfold via ftp.
Unfortunately it showed no results, the problem still occurs. Navigation is flickering and stops at the wrong topic.
Do you have any Idea?
Thanks
BerndMarch 31, 2016 at 6:09 pm #606091Hey!
updating is not enough when there are corrupted files. Please follow the instructions:
delete all theme files completely via FTP completely, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account.Regards,
AndyMarch 31, 2016 at 10:26 pm #606288Hi Andy, I did it exactly like that.
firstly I deleted the complete Enfold folder from the themes folder via FTP and then uploaded a fresh copy from themeforrest.
Kind regards
BerndApril 2, 2016 at 2:01 pm #606968Hey!
The issue is that the “current-menu-item” class attribute is being toggled on and off while scrolling. Did you modify any theme scripts? Removing the color adjustment for the current menu item will fix the issue temporarily until we find a better solution.
.current-menu-item a .avia-menu-text { color: #ffffff; }

IsmaelApril 3, 2016 at 1:44 pm #607220HI Isamel,
thank you for your reply. No, we didn`t make any changes to theme scripts.
The flickering is gone after using your script. The remaining problem is that the highlight stops at the wrong topic. It is always the one on the left side of the expected one. For example after clicking on “impressions” the highlight stops at “collection”.
Do you have any ideas?
Thank you
BerndApril 4, 2016 at 11:19 am #607489Hey!
please remove any custom code you have implemented, to check which one is causing this issue. Keep all plugins deactivated while testing. Don’t forget to clear browser cache.
I hope it will help, to find what it’s causing, as it seems weird because we can’t reproduce the issue on our end and it’s working as expected for thousands of users.
Best regards,
AndyApril 6, 2016 at 12:00 pm #608872Hi Andy,
April 7, 2016 at 11:50 am #609506Hey Bernd!
mit den Highlighting der Anchor Links hast du völlig recht. Kriesi arbeitet bereits an einem Fix dafür. Im nächsten Theme Update wird es aufgespielt. Vielen Dank noch mal für deinen Hinweis und für deine Geduld.

AndyMay 11, 2016 at 10:48 am #630580Hallo Andy,
das Problem mit dem Highlight scheint ja gelöst zu sein,
gibt es denn schon ein Enfold Update das den Fehler behebt?
Gruß Bernd- This reply was modified 8 years, 7 months ago by brnd2000.
May 11, 2016 at 1:19 pm #630678Hey!
wenn das Problem bereits gelöst ist für dich, dann scheint das aktuellste Update es wohl behoben zu haben :)
Cheers!
