Hello. I Recently the website I was working on is not showing up correctly. All I did was change the number on the upper right of the site. When I did that, the entire home page messed up. It was fixed by support, but it had the old number up top again. I was told to unistall and reisntall wordpress which I did. It worked for a little while, but went back to the off center site it is now.
Also, in the “Menu” section, I am unable to edit anything in there. Why would this be? Can someone please help me with these issues? Thanks so much.
September 12, 2014 at 11:55 am #318023Just to add. These problem seem to happen with the latest updates with WordPress and Enfold.
September 13, 2014 at 9:30 am #318440I’m still trying to fix the problems on the site. Under Header Layout>Extra Elements, I have the number to 555-555-5555. Whenever I change and save it, the entire front page (home page) especially the video and the pics at the bottom get thrown off. When I upgraded and re-installed WordPress, it is showing the number at the top right to be 1-800-Mix-Alot. The home page is fixed, but that is not the number I want to show up. And even when the site looks correct, I still cannot edit he menu in the appearance section. I cannot figure out what is going on. Can someone please help?

Seems you have downgraded to Enfold 2.9.1 and WordPress 3.9.2.
Cheers!
JosueSeptember 15, 2014 at 7:17 am #319041I’m seeing WordPress 4.0 and 2.9.2. I don’t see how you are seeing that, but I may be mistaken. If so, how do I fix it?
September 15, 2014 at 12:06 pm #319133Hey!
Can you please try re-updating the theme via FTP and make sure to overwrite all files – http://vimeo.com/67209750

The problem persists with any other theme activated, so its not related to Enfold, i’d suggest re-installing WordPress.
Cheers!
JosueSeptember 16, 2014 at 8:18 am #319644How do I do that Josue. I thought I did that already. Can you point me to a video that shows me? And will all my work on the site disappear?
September 16, 2014 at 2:23 pm #319866Hi!
Please go to Dashboard > Updates and click “Re-install now”. No, your work is saved on your database and is safe
Cheers!
YigitSeptember 17, 2014 at 4:07 am #320273Hey Yigit. I did what you said and it went back to what it is supposed to look like. When I removed the phone number on the top right, it reverted back to the messed up looking home page. Also, the option for the menus are missing still. When I go to Apperance> Menu, there is still no dropdowns and I cannot edit the menu. I’m not sure what to do.
September 17, 2014 at 6:16 am #320310Hi!
I’m still not sure why the full screen slider with the video is not working properly on your installation but your WordPress dashboard looks different than usual, the buttons, for example. Please go to wp-content > plugins then rename all plugin folders temporarily.

IsmaelSeptember 17, 2014 at 6:45 am #320321Thanks for your help Ismael. I rename, but unfortunetly it didn’t seem to do anything. I cannot wrap my head around this.

That’s not a FTP account, however i think re-installing won’t do the fix as i already tried that in Updates > Re-install to no avail. Try the fixes provided in the following article:

JosueSeptember 18, 2014 at 7:06 am #320918Hello Josue. I tried what the article said. Unfortunately, nothing changed. Any other suggestions. I’m not sure what to do.
September 18, 2014 at 8:31 pm #321459I’m out of ideas at this point, i’d suggest contacting your hosting support regarding this issue as it is a server issue rather than a theme one.
Best regards,
Josue -
