    Hi,

We are trying to make one of the header navigation buttons to to a specific section (contact) on a page. It works when custom link is set to:

    ”#contact” – but not when – “www.ourdomain.com/2015#contact”

This means that it only works when the user is on the page with the contact form, but from nowhere else on the site. The link, when set to “ourdomain.com/2015#contact”, sends users to the page with the contact form, but not to the form itself. It needs to be able to send users directly to the form, or to the page and then animate down to the form.

    Can you please help?

    Cheers

    Hey ChalleDesign!

Viewing your site is password protected even though I was logged in, but I changed the link to http://www.challedesign.com/2015/#contact, could you verify if it works or not?

    Regards,
    Rikard

Unfortunately, no. It sends to the home page, but it does not go down to the contact form/section.

I’ve added the password to the Private Data in this thread so you can see.

    Cheers

    Hey!

You can use this plugin to display different menu per page – https://wordpress.org/plugins/zen-menu-logic/

That works to use different menus, yes, but what we wanted to do was make the contact form on the home page accessible from everywhere.

We have since created a new page with its own contact form to be used when the users are not on the home page. Not how we wanted to do it, but it will work.

    Cheers

    Hey!

hm, I hope you are glad with the workaround and I think it should work with the anchor link to your contact form. Unfortunately your login information are not working anymore. Let us know if you still need help with this issue, then we can take a look again. Please try to deactivate all your plugins, to see if one is causing a conflict with your anchor links.

    Best regards,
    Andy
