Hello:
I imported minimal fotos demo data which has “fixed frame” as general layout settings. In order to test some other design options I changed from fixed frame to boxed layout with a maximum size of 1310px. So far both settings worked.
Here is the problem:
When I go back again from boxed layout to “fixed frame” this doesnt really work: The background of the page seems to follow fixed frame design i.e. i can see the body colour going over the screen until the the given frame width. But the content itself (colour section, text column,…) remain in the “boxed layout” i.e. in my case they have a widht of aprox. 930px.
Q:How can I rechange from “boxed layout” to “fixed frame” in the way that content realy goes over the complete screen? or do I have to make additional settings for that?

Thanks for that, login details are working. I’m not sure I understand your problem though, the layout seems to be corresponding to the settings you are using on the backend. Do you want your content to stretch full width? If so you would have to change to Stretched Layout. If I’m not understand you correctly then could you please post a screenshot highlighting the issue you are having please?

I understand that with fixed frame the content always goes until the frame. (so works the demo as well)
The frame of my site is the magenta area. So I would expect the masonry going over the full site until the frame (different than stretched layout: here it goes over the whole width). In my case the masonry remains in the middle with a width of approx 940px. The question is: from where comes this/ where is the setting for the around 940px? I would expext it going until the magenta frame

Thanks for the clarification, that comes from Enfold->General Layout->Dimensions. I see that you tried to change it yourself, but it won’t work without a measurement as well.
Enter the maximum content width for your site. Pixel and % are allowed eg: 1130px, 1310px, 100%

and this is exactly the problem: whatever I input there doesn’t influence the site. The 5000px that are currently in come from the demo data. I thought when I input this it should go back to the demo data layout – but it doesn’t. This is why my guess is that something else needs to be adjusted or setSeptember 5, 2017 at 5:47 am #847962Hi,
The default value there is 1310px, so I’m not sure where you are getting 5000 from. I checked your site again and you have this added: 1700. That won’t affect anything since it doesn’t have a value. Please try reading this text again:
Enter the maximum content width for your site. Pixel and % are allowed eg: 1130px, 1310px, 100%
