    Hello guys and girls at KRIESI,

    I have inherited a client (a friend of mine) using:
    – WP 5.4.4
    – Enfold theme 3.4.6

    I tried updating to WP 5.7 and updating all plugins, also disabling all plugins – no help.

    Changing theme helps.

    The problem is: when I try to add new content I can’t type anything into the editor, I can’t add anything to media libarary, nothing is clickable.

    Do you have any idea how to debug this? Problem is, based on my opinion, the theme. However I see no API key in it.

    It is not problem to purchase the licence if it will help to resolve the issue. But how can we know it will resolve it?

    Hi Roberto,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Enfold 3.4.6 is a very old version and is not compatible with your WordPress version. Updating Enfold to the latest version 4.8.2 would bring up the compatibility up to the latest WordPress and fix the issue you are having :)

    We would recommend you to have a backup to be safe and update the theme via FTP. After updating the theme, please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/ and insert Personal Token to Enfold theme options so you would receive auto updates in WP dashboard :)

    I downgraded php to 7.0 and now it works.
    Please just edit my 1st post and remove the domain name from public information :)
