    When we use an email address as an icon link, the link looks line this all the time: mailto:mailto:name.domain.com. So one “mailto:” is too much. It is no difference if we save the link with or without the “mailto:” in the link field. After saving, it is always the same behavior. It sems like a small bug in the theme. Is there a workaround maybe, or can it be fixed?

    Hi Julian,

    It works as expected on my end if I only add an email without the mailto: part. If that is not working on your end then we need to see the actual problem on your site, in order to help you out.

    Interesting. Even when I save the email address without “mailto:” I see “mailto:mailto:” in the link. I send you the login data in the private area. Maybe you have an idea. Thanks for the fast answer.

    Thanks for the information!

    I removed “mailto:” from link field and that helped. When email address is added, “mailto:” is added automatically.
