    Hello everyone, First sorry for my English i know it’s not perfect, but I need to ask you some questions about the automatic updates of enfold. I bought three days ago in the Themeforest market and so after two days I have finished configuring it. Right now after installing also enfold child i need to understand how the automatic updates work.

    I create two different api key from the themeforest panel but nothing happen, so i decided to install the envato toolkit and with this i could update the template not automaticaly but i did the update.

    Now my questions are:

    1) The envato toolkit update only the enfold parent and not the child right..?

    2) How much api keys can i create, the api key is one for each template..?

    3) How i can know that the automatic updates work..? I ask this because with the child activated i can’t see the parent.

    4) I need to put user and the api key also in the child one or is enough only in the parent one..?

    5) What are the api keys..of themeforest..?

    I ask Another time here because this thing with update for me is a very strange thing , i don’t understand how this thing work i did another site with enfold and in this site i did in a different way and i put the api key and the username also in the child theme now i see the updates also without switching the template now really i don’t understand how this feature work..someone can explain me how the automatic and child theme work in enfold..?

    Hi!

    Envato WordPress toolkit is currently deprecated, that means you won’t receive automatic updates at the moment. You can still however update manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files

    Sorry but maybe my english is not so good, and for this reason we can’t understand each other, i understand how to do updates manually and automatically i read that document a lot of times, the thing that i don’t understand is to receive the notification the api key and the user name still be also in the form of the child template..?

    Hi!

    Yes, if you are using a child theme you have to re-enter your username and API Key in the theme options.
