Hello good day. I have tried several times, but I can not change the color of the drop-down menu. That is, the colors of the menu categories are correct, but the dropdown that opens below where my posts appear is not good. I want the color of the drop down to be white, and the black letters, and there is no way to get it after several attempts. Simply the drop-down looks ALL gray, and the letters are not read. Could you help me? I also wanted to ask how I can make the buttons of the categories more detectable in the eyes of users who browse my website. Because it seems as if they were not buttons to click on. I hope to have explained myself well, it is an important point because I am about to open my website to Google and I do not want to commit last minute mistakes. Thanks in advance.

MikeDecember 4, 2017 at 12:38 pm #884612Good Morning. The code that you have given me, has solved the problem, from the drop down menu. Thank you very much for that. Now I have to solve another thing, and that is that, when I enter my website from a cell phone, you can not see the menu, the menu in the cell phone is totally transparent, and you do not see where you have to click. Why can this happen and what solution does it have? Thank you.

December 5, 2017 at 11:58 am #884988Hey!
Can you please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately so we can look into it?
Cheers!
YigitDecember 5, 2017 at 1:15 pm #885030Good morning, thanks for the answer, how can I send the login and the administrator of my website temporarily? I do not know how I should do that step, thank you
December 5, 2017 at 1:20 pm #885034Hi!
Please go to Users > Add New and create a new user with “Administrator” role. You can use (Email address hidden if logged out) as email however please post logins here privately so any available moderator can look into it.
Cheers!
YigitDecember 5, 2017 at 1:33 pm #885035Ok, thanks, I sent you the admin and the temporary login by private message.
I explain the problem again, so there are no confusions. The problem of the colors in the drop-down menu is already solved, thank you.
Now the problem is that in the mobile version, of some phones that I have tried, the logo of my web does not appear, and in none of the mobile phones that I have tried I can’t see the menu. That means that if you do not see the menu, people who browse my website do not know where to click.December 5, 2017 at 2:10 pm #885058Hi,
I added following code to Quick CSS however it is not being applied
#advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide { background-color: #ffffff; color: #b1ad30 !important; border-color: #b1ad30 !important; }
Please try adding it to enfold/css/custom.css file via FTP and check if that helps.
Also, you are currently using a very old version of the theme. We would recommend you to keep your theme updated. You can check out Enfold change log here – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enfold-changelog/ and update your theme by referring to this post – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/.
To be on the safe side, please create a testing installation and update the theme there to check if anything breaks. That may happen as there have been many major changes in the theme. For example, mobile menu was replaced with a totally new one :)
Best regards,
YigitDecember 6, 2017 at 12:28 pm #885537Ok, thank you very much, I found that the problem was only with my own phone. From the phone of other users the menu is seen correctly. But there’s one thing I do not understand, you say I’m using a very old version of the template. I bought the Enfold template at the beginning of this year 2017. How can I have an old version, if I bought it a year ago? Whenever updates arrive to my wordpress, I do all the updates. Maybe Enfold’s updates are not done that way? Is there a way to do them that I do not know? I do not know, I’m a little lost with this topic, since I did not know that I was using an old version nor did I understand why it happened, if you can explain it to me please .. Thanks in advance.
December 6, 2017 at 4:09 pm #885627Hi,
You are welcome!
Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and insert your username and API key from ThemeForest to receive auto updates.
If you already inserted your username and API key in Enfold theme options but not receiving updates, please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.
If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest.
Best regards,
YigitDecember 6, 2017 at 6:58 pm #885728Ok, now I understand, thank you very much for the help. I just want to ask you one last question. Right now my web has the look I need and I would not like to lose the work done. If I do the Enfold update, can I lose the work done? When doing the update can my site be broken, or the progress achieved so far?
December 6, 2017 at 7:59 pm #885749Hi!
Did you make any changes on theme files (such as functions.php, header.php files etc.)? If you have not, you can go ahead and update the theme. You will not lose your work but you may need to reconfigure some settings/elements such as menu items.
To be on the safe side, you can create a testing environment – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/ and update the theme there and see if anything breaks :)
Best regards,
