    Hello,
    I’m using the categories widget in my blog sidebar.
    I have categories and sub-categories, so I check the “show hierarchy” in the widget setting but it shows it only if I also check “Display as dropdown” button. And I don’t want to display as dropdown.
    I don’t think it’s a normal behavior.

    Please help.

    Hey David!

    The widget you mention is a WordPress widget so i think that’s the expected behavior, therefore i’d suggest looking for a plugin solution, like:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/extended-categories-widget/

    Hey Josue,

    Thanks for the answer. I tested several plugin and they all have the same behavior. It seems hierarchy is only display with dropdown. I’ll do another way.
