Issue of emails that keep sending from the Enfold form, even after I replaced the Enfold form with GravityForms.
On this site until a month ago I used the Enfold contact form. Then I deleted the Enfold form and installed GravityForms.
Despite this, I keep getting spam emails sent from the old Enfold form (which I deleted). EasyWP SMTP also notifies me of events of this type:Type Error

I stopped using the “Contact Form Enfold”, but Enfold keeps sending emails from a Contact Form Enfold that I can’t find :(

I’ll try to summarize my question:
is it normal for Enfold to send emails starting from an Enfold Form inserted in an old version of the page?In my many years of using Enfold, this is the first time this has happened to me :(

Thank you for your patience, I have not seen this before and the only way I can imagine is that the spammer is injecting the php summit via a url directly.
I would recommend installing a plugin like Banhammer to try to identify the IP address that is sending the spam from your site and ban them.
Spammers typically use software to do these types of attacks on your site and will contenue even if the form is not working, since your site is just one of hundreds in their list, it would be best to block their IPs so your hosting resources are not used.Best regards,

I understood the problem.
A month ago on the site in question I started using GravityForms instead of the Contact Form Enfold. But instead of deleting the Contact Form Enfold I hid it using the “Advanced / Responsive / Element Visibility”.
In this way the Contact Form Enfold while not visible from the front end, but the Enfold Contact Form that I had hidden, kept receiving messages and sending notifications :(
Now I have eliminated the Contact Form Enfold, and the problem of spam emails sent from the site is solved.Are you aware of this situation? I have been using Enfold for many years and in many sites, but I had never noticed this strange behavior. :(

I have not heard of this before but it does make sense, because hiding it visually doesn’t hide it from bots which searchs the page source code.
Glad to hear that you have now deleted it, but I would install the plugin Blackhole for Bad Bots to ban the bot that is scanning your site.
