I have a problem on one page.
On the Website everything is working but on page has a strange error Message:
Service UnavailableThe server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
And can you please tell why this page does not find any enfold updates?
Do you have a way how to do the update instead of doing it via FTP and creating the whole envato key etc?
Thanks SimonDecember 21, 2018 at 10:05 pm #1048401Hey simonac,
The only alternative we have for that is to use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
You can check on this thread for instructions: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/
If you’re planning to update your live site, I would suggest you create a stage site first and perform the update there, this way you can test first if there are issues without affecting your live site.
To create a stage site, you can check this post: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
NikkoDecember 22, 2018 at 5:27 pm #1048566Hey Nikko,
thanks for the tipps with the update. But you gave no answer for the main question!
On the page you see in the private Date there is this erroe message when i want to edit it.Please check this out. You got the login data.
Thanks simonDecember 26, 2018 at 4:47 pm #1049105Hi simon,
I apologize for that, I tried to access your site but it also returns 503 error (screenshot in private content).
Try to enable wordpress debugging and error logging: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress it’s hard to pinpoint what could be causing that issue but enabling debug and error logging we might get atleast some lead on what’s causing the 503 error.Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 3, 2019 at 11:49 am #1049574Hi Nikko, can you please try again. On my end there is no error on the frontend.
Thanks simonJanuary 4, 2019 at 1:28 pm #1049977Hi Simon,
Can you give us a link to the login page?
I tried the links in private content to login since that’s the commong login link and check the editor however those links only returns 503 error and prevents me from logging in to check.Best regards,

I’ll ask my colleagues to check it out since It’s still 503 Service Unavailable on my end.

NikkoJanuary 8, 2019 at 1:58 pm #1051387Hi,
I took a look at your page and was able to login, I see that you are using Enfold v4.4 which uses the old Envato API which is no longer in use. You will need to manually update to v4.5.2 and register for the new Envato Token for the update system to work. v4.4 won’t work with the new Token.
Please see Nikko’s post above to see how to register for the new Token and update your theme.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 8, 2019 at 3:21 pm #1051412Hi Mike, but this has nothing to do with the error on this specific page.
On other pages on this website everything is working fine.
So please go on with investigating this problem as i now can not update the theme in the next days and this has to be fixed.
Thanks simonJanuary 9, 2019 at 12:35 am #1051529Hi,
Sorry perhaps I’m confused, I thought you were describing the error from trying to update, because on this page I’m getting no errors
Please see the screenshot in Private Content area.
Please try clearing your browser cache and revisiting the page.
I would still recommend updating your theme.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 9, 2019 at 9:34 am #1051657The error comes when i want to edit this age.
Just click on edit page and you will see what i mean.
All other pages can be editedJanuary 10, 2019 at 1:12 am #1052141Hi,
Thank you, I understand now, I activated the debugger to check the code of the page but didn’t find any errors, then I copied the page to my localhost, and it loaded good.
I deactivated all of your plugins, but the error continued. Then I copied the page to a new page on you site, which also give the error again.
I checked a couple of other pages on your site and they gave a server 500 error.
I recommend asking your webhost if they can see the cause for the server error in the error log, because I’m beginning to believe that is where the error is.
I see that you are using PHP v7.2, if your webhost doesn’t find a cause, please try downgrading your PHP to v7.0 to see if that helps.
Please let us know what your web host finds.Best regards,
Mike -
