Hi,
I have an issue when migrating the site with the Enfold theme to the online server.
Normally it’s is a straightforward process using WP MIGRATE DB plug in but because of some reason when I move the site and import the database the Layer Slider disappears not just from the front end but from the back and too + the Portfolio images are missing as well as the custom logo. Please help asap
ThanksNovember 27, 2013 at 10:27 am #193782Hi adriaprintweb!
You can use the Layer Sliders’ Import and Export settings. Have you tried that?
Cheers!
IsmaelNovember 27, 2013 at 12:11 pm #193842Hi there,
Unfortunately the Layer Slider Menu is missing completely from the bottom of the left side menu bar at the back end of WordPress so I can’t import it.
Any idea why is this happening?

Are you sure that the LayerSlider files are there?
/config-layerslider

Yes, the files are copied from the localhost ( where it works without any problem) once it’s on a live server the Layer Slider disappears from the front and back end of WordPress but when I check the files they all there. In addition the lightbox isn’t working either, it just opens the portfolio or gallery image on a blank page. I’ve downloaded a fresh copy of the theme but no luck.
Do you have any suggestion ?
Please reply asapThanks
November 28, 2013 at 11:39 pm #194530Hey!
Try doing a fresh installation (without importing) of WordPress + Enfold in another location in the same server.

Try following the steps from this video to get the theme installed: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356
If you want to stop before activating so we can activate it just post back when 2.4.2 is showing in the available themes section.

The server either auto creates a super user or there is something else in place causing a conflict with the users permission.
By default, a WordPress installation’s initial admin user has no restrictions. The plugin within the theme has nothing out of the ordinary for its permissions either. Its just a check for if the user is a normal admin user.
December 6, 2013 at 9:51 pm #197119I’ve re installed it again and it works. Have no idea what was the problem.
Thank you very much for help. I appreciate it.
