Hi there,
I’ve started using the LayerSlider on two of my pages and I’m struggling with incorporating two text-based layers.
I just want to add to text-based layers to the slider to reflect the page headers I use throughout the rest of my site.
The issue seems to be the exact spelling of the font family. I want to use:
Georgia, ‘Times New Roman’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif
As you can see, I have followed your note and placed Times New Roman within apostrophes. It renders the result as it should in the preview, but when I look at the page, all settings for this particular layer seem to be disregard and it’s shown at the top left-hand corner of the slider. See screenshot
I tried different settings including placing the text between the header tags <h1> … </h1>, but this didn’t work either.
Can you help, please? I’d appreciate any pointers.
Many thanks
Hi!
Try adding !important to the style rules, also, if you are going to use HTML tags you’d need to change the layer type to HTML.

Hey!
I was able to change the formatting of the “About …” layer in the About slider, check it out.

Hi Josue and thanks for your reply.
In Safari it still doesn’t look right. Both slides cling to the upper lefthand corner of the slider. Also, the font still seems to be Times New Roman instead of Georgia. Any thoughts?
Many thanks
Hi!
I tried checking the KMI About slider but it’s empty right now.
