Hi there!
I recently set up my shop page just exactly how I wanted it – using the theme’s Layout Editor, I set up the Shop page using the Product Grid feature. I also customized one aspect that you can see in this thread, hiding the standard “no products found” warning completely. Everything was working just fine until I moved to a new hosting company today.
Now, no matter what I do, the page just shows “No products were found matching your selection” PLUS a Nothing Found 404 style error below that. Everything I’ve tried that worked before, not working now. The issue for me mainly is that we don’t always have products to display, but I don’t want the Nothing Found message on there. Additionally, the fact that none of the customizations are working anymore, the 404 error message, and that I can’t seem to get the website to even show the page I built is just SO odd.
– I have all the settings correct – under Woocommerce > Settings > Products > General I have NOT selected a Shop page (see screenshot)
– I have cleared cache, checked other browsers and other devices
– I have disabled all plugins with the same resultTHANK YOU!
UPDATE: I set up a private page called “Store” and set that to the main “Shop page” under the Woocoomerce settings. That has made it so the site is now allowing my Shop page using the Advanced Layout Builder to show up. Wahoo! But this is just a temporary solution since something weird is indeed going on!

April 13, 2019 at 8:51 pm #1090449Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, and thank you for the screenshots.
So to review, on a different server everything was fine, on the new server the “no products found” warning is showing, plus other customizations are not working.I believe this is because when the site was moved and re-saved the automatic generated clases changed, for the “no products found” warning it depends on “.avia-builder-el-5” which is a automatic class, which could change if any elements are moved on the page and then re-saved.
I could not login to check this, please re-new the login so I can check.
If any other css or scripts depend on auto classes like “.avia-builder-el-5” and they don’t work, this would explain it.
BTW, I also see that you are getting 404’s on your site because the google map iframes in your footer doesn’t seem to include the API key You might want to look at that :)
Best regards,

April 16, 2019 at 2:46 am #1091179Hi,
Thank you for the login, well my idea doesn’t seem to be having much success in correcting this, and it looks like your site is live and taking orders now so I don’t want to dig too deep guessing and affect your orders.
Now in your first post when everything was working correctly, was the site on a staging or localhost, or was it in maintenance?Best regards,
MikeApril 16, 2019 at 11:02 pm #1091707The site was just on a different host – we moved it from Bluehost to WP Engine – we did a direct database transfer so it shouldn’t have affected anything.
If it’ll help, I created a staging site that you can log into using the same credentials provided (just use the link provided in the private comments).
April 18, 2019 at 6:32 am #1092286Hi,
Thanks for creating the staging site, so to recreate the 404 error I tried to undo your work around “under Woocommerce > Settings > Products > General I have NOT selected a Shop page”
but it doesn’t seem to cause the error. Am I reading this correctly?Best regards,
MikeApril 18, 2019 at 6:47 pm #1092480Hi Mike,
Thanks for checking it out – the error didn’t show because there were “active” products available. Once I removed that product, you’ll see the No Products Found and Nothing Found error.
Additionally, once you do have an “active” product in there, there’s some sort of additional Woocommerce loop, multiplying the products in there (as indicated by the screenshot).
You’re welcome to unpublish & publish that 2019 product in there to see what each of those pages look like, but I’ve included screenshot links here as well.
The whole point of having the Shop page NOT selected under the Woocommerce settings is so that I can use the Advanced Layout Builder for the Shop page layout. I’ve been trying to figure out a workaround for that for some time now (however my current workarounds aren’t working, and I think it’s best to have a Shop page selected in those Wooocommerce settings regardless of the Advanced Layout Builder).
To recap – I’m
April 19, 2019 at 5:01 am #1092552Hi,
Oh I see, have you tried this functionadd_theme_support( 'avia_custom_shop_page' );
it will enable the Layout Builder for the default Shop page.
Best regards,
