Hey there,
we updated from WP 3.8 to 4.0 and Enfold 2.8.1 to 2.9.2 and our website was broken:
Portfolio did not work although we changed to 1/1 column as per your advice, testimonial grid and footer broken etc.WP 4.0 still running, but we set back from Enfold 2.9.2 to 2.8.1 and installed the last back-up.
Some bugs like broken footer were resolved, BUT: still the testimonial grid is broken, some images of 2/3 Gallery are not
loading completely and never ending rotating wheel in avia layout builder.Urgently need your help. Thank you for your help.
Cheers

It seems like you are still using version 2.8.1. Please try re-updating the theme via FTP and make sure to overwrite all files – http://vimeo.com/67209750
P.S.: You forgot to post the password to your WP backendRegards,
YigitSeptember 25, 2014 at 8:21 pm #325239Hey Yigit,
thank you fyi.
Meanwhile we have found out in the web that WP 4 and Enfold are not working correctly. Therefore we made a restore from database and from webspace too. Now system is working correctly with Enfold 2.8.1 and WP 3.8.
Seems that page builder is the problem. How can we avoid those problems in future when updating to WP 4.0 and Enfold 2.9.2?
Cheers
PedeSeptember 26, 2014 at 8:20 am #325432Hey!
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to debug the issue if you don’t upgrade WP and Enfold. Please update the theme and WP then reconfigure the broken elements. Sometimes, clicking update on the page usually fix these issues. Please give us a link to the broken pages. We would like to check it.

It sounds pretty similar. Portfolio is not working correctly after update to newer versions of theme and WP.
I created a new thread once a day for the past 3 days but unfortunately I couldn’t get any assistance. Is there anything I should do? Downgrade perhaps?September 26, 2014 at 11:05 pm #325789Hey alteregousa,
after downgrade from WP 4.0 to 3.9.2 and from Enfold 2.9.2 to 2.8.1 we could solve all problems. Maybe you should give it a try.
Good luck!
September 27, 2014 at 3:46 am #325855Thank you. I’ll try.
September 29, 2014 at 7:06 am #326334Hi!
Thank you for the info.
1.) Please post the login details to We would like to test the testimonial shortcode. Have you tried recreating the testimonials? As I said, the update might break some of the elements so you need to reconfigure it.
2.) Choose a thumbnail on the Gallery Big Preview Image Size.
3.) The Portfolio Grid is now set to full width by default. Place it inside a 1/1 column to make it look like exactly as before.
4.) We would like to check this. Please give us a temporary login details on the test site. **removed upon request**
5.) The latest update is using a different lightbox. The old lightbox “prettyPhoto” is a bit outdated. We replaced it with MagnificPopup. If you still want to use prettyPhoto, deactivate MFP on Enfold > Theme Options > Lightbox Modal Window. Install prettyPhoto as a stand alone plugin.

October 1, 2014 at 7:14 am #327884Hi!
@pede1: We need the authentication password. I tried the login credentials on your first post but there is no password there.2.) After you switch the Gallery Style to Big Preview, there will be another available option. The Gallery Big Preview Image Size will control the thumbnail size use on the big preview image of the gallery.
3.) Placing the Portfolio Grid on 1/1 column should prevent it from becoming full width. Please do this then remove browser cache before testing the page.
5.) There is no detailed list of the changes but you can always check the theme overview changelogs: http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990?ref=Kriesi
@bjacoby: Did you update the theme to Enfold 2.9.2? This should fix the issues on WordPress 4.0 update. Where did you send the login credentials?Cheers!

@bjacoby: I checked your site and it’s not using the latest version of the theme. Please download the latest version Enfold 3.0 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/After the update, please remove browser cache then reload the page.

Sorry for the late reply. Could you please post FTP password as well? I tried all passwords you have posted here but none of them worked. You are the only user who is having this issue so it is taking a little more time than usual.
