    Hey solidvapor,

Do you mean the styling? It can be done via quick css.

    No, I mean the text.

    Hi,

You can change that under Enfold->Privacy and Cookies. If you should need further help then please link to what you are referring to so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Go to https://advectus3.solidvapor.net/ and click the “Learn More” button in the Cookie Consent Message bar at the bottom of the page.

You will see a list of links on the left side of the modal window that appears. Each link opens a new tab in the modal window.

How can a change the text that appears in these tabs…??

I see nothing on the Enfold->Privacy and Cookies page that would allow me to change the text in the tabs.

    Hi solidvapor,

Those texts can be found and edited in the /enfold/includes/helper-privacy.php file.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. You can actually change the tab content directly from the Privacy & Cookies > Modal Popup Window Content section. Look for the Tab Content field. It is possible to add more tabs in the modal window, and you can also replace the default text in the privacy shortcodes or privacy toggles when necessary. Wrap the custom text inside the privacy shortcodes like the following example.

    [av_privacy_allow_cookies]Your own text[/av_privacy_allow_cookies]

    Best regards,

When I go to Enfold Theme Options > Privacy & Cookies I do not see a reference to Modal Popup Window Content nor to a Tab Content field. How do I get there…??

I am running Enfold v4.5.2 with Block Editor enabled.

    Hi solidvapor,

These options are available in Enfold 4.6.3.1, you might want to update the theme.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Thank you for the answer — bit I find it odd that the modal window is available in v4.5.2 but the ability to tweak the text in the modal window is not available until v4.6.3.1

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

The options were just added recently, so they are not available on older versions of the theme. You have to upgrade the theme to the latest version in order to get access to the new privacy options.

    Hi everyone,

    1. I’ve implemented the modal popup window for cookies, and it looks fine on the desktop version, but on the mobile version it’s not possible to scroll down through the text, so a user can’t get to the buttons to toggle them on or off.
Is there any way to fix this?

    2. In the modal popup window options, there is the following text:
“If you want to allow your visitors to opt out of essential cookies and hide the message bar when returning to your site you need to add the following 2 shortcodes to your content:
[av_privacy_allow_cookies] – allows a user to refuse cookies and hides message bar (needs 2 cookies for that, others are removed)
[av_privacy_accept_essential_cookies] – allows a user to opt out from essential theme and all other cookies (except 2 from av_privacy_allow_cookies)”
I’d like to know where exactly on my site I need to paste these two shortcodes.

    Thanks!

    Chris

    Hi,

    @Chris
: We are not able to check the site because it is currently on maintenance mode. Please open a new thread and post the login details in the private field. Regarding the shortcode, you can paste it anywhere in the site, in a post, a page or inside one of the tabs within the privacy modal popup window.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
