Hi there,
I know that I can get the floating symbold on the right corner which indicates the number of articles which are in my cart. And with mouseover it also gives a brief overview of the cart status.
But what also is pretty common is to show number of items plus the value of the cart within the top menu. Couldn’t find settings for this. Is this implemented within Enfold or do I need a separate plugin for this? If a plugin is necessary – can you recommend one?
Thank you!
February 19, 2019 at 9:12 am #1068830Hey rob,
I could not view your site and I’m just getting:
Error: TimedOut (0x274c). System.Net.Sockets.SocketException A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond
Just to confirm, do you want to have same functionality as this demo shows: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/product/calligraphy-set/
Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 19, 2019 at 9:30 pm #1069112Hi Nikko,
Cannot explain the timeout – you should see a maintenance mode website instead. When trying on my end this still ist working.
And no – my settings for the “Header-Warenkorb-Symbol” is “Anzeige Flouting auf der Seite, aber nur ein Produkt wurde in den Warenkorb hinzugefügt” (by the way there is a grammatical mistake in this german translation – it should be “Anzeige Flouting…, aber nur WENN ein Produkt…”).
Thanks
February 20, 2019 at 10:34 am #1069370Hi,
I get an error message on my end as well, are you blocking some country IPs maybe? If the site is in maintenance mode then I guess we would need login details in order to view it?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 20, 2019 at 8:10 pm #1069669Correct – you cannot view it currently.
And I have no idea how to block IPs or countries in WordPress. Therefore I guess that I do not. But to be honest I have no idea :-(February 23, 2019 at 7:25 am #1070607Hi,
Thanks for the update, I can connect to your site if I used a european IP using the VPN feature in Opera. The site looks to be in maintenance mode though, could you post login details in private please?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 23, 2019 at 8:10 am #1070618Hi Rikard,
I have no idea how i might have blocket non-european IPs. Where are you from?
And I have turned off the maintenance mode for the morning if you would like to check again.
ThanksFebruary 23, 2019 at 6:14 pm #1070717Hi Rikard,
Maintenance mode has been turned off permanently now…
ThanksFebruary 23, 2019 at 6:19 pm #1070719Just realized another issue with the cart floating symbol: It shows up on all pages, but not in /home and not on /shop.
And yes there were items in my cart when I tried this…
Thank you!February 28, 2019 at 10:50 pm #1072786Hi there,
Do you have any suggestions on this issue?
Thank you!March 1, 2019 at 5:19 am #1072871Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, when I add items to your cart and then hover over the icon it says how many items and the total of the cart. Unless I misunderstood, this seems to be what you are asking for?
To show the cart icon on the shop page, please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:#top.woocommerce-page .cart_dropdown { display: block !important; }
Best regards,
MikeMarch 1, 2019 at 6:51 pm #1073344Hi Mike,
Sorry – this is a misunderstanding. Of course it shows the detailes when hovering over the icon. What I am asking for is the behavior you know from Zal…do and all the other big webshops: At least the quantity, sometimes also the value in Euro (or whichever currency) is shown permanentely. And when hovering over the cart icon you get all the details. I am missing this permanently information that there is something in the cart.
ThanksMarch 1, 2019 at 6:53 pm #1073347That it does not show up at all is just on /home and on /shop (on all other pages it does show up).
March 2, 2019 at 7:41 am #1073543No idea what I have done, but the issue is solved. Thanks!
