    Hi, don’t now, if this is the right place for my problem, but maybe someone has a solution… My website is mostly done, but I have the problem that I don’t get any preview on social media or messenger apps (I only have Whatspp and Telegram for testing) when I share a link to my website. I read that you use plug-ins like Yoast SEO for that, but that one doesn’t have any effect whatsoever. Any ideas?

    Hey ThomasN001,

    There’s no functionality like that in the theme by default unfortunately. You can specify which image should be used on some social networks using Yoast, but those settings might not be respected or work on other platforms. There might be plugins available for specific platforms, or you might have to add custom code.

    So, there isn’t some standard meta data that is used by all this platforms? Any chance that this feature is added in a future version of Enfold? I really don’t like using too many plug-ins.

    Hi,

    As far as I’m aware, there’s no such common code no. If all the social platforms decide to create something like that in the future, then I’m sure it will be implemented in a plugin like Yoast for example.

    Thanks Rikard! I just found the solution, why Yoast SEO didn’t do anything (that was the case for Telegram). In some cases you have to use the Webpage Bot (https://t.me/WebpageBot) to force update of the preview of your website.
