Hi, When editing and making changes to any of my existing pages and press Preview button, the preview window shows up, but the changes do not. I’ve tried several things:
Tried working with Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers
Disabled plugins at all
Deleted WP Super Cache plugin and all htacces rules
Resaving permalink structure in wordpress options.
Reinstaling WordPress 4.1.1
Deleted complete Enfold folder and uploaded a new copy fresh files via ftpWhen changing Enfold theme to another one of wordpress, everything works fine, so I assume all this trouble has to do with Enfold.
Honestly, I don’t know what more I can do to fix this,I need your support as fas as you can, Thanks a lot!

I created a test page and used the preview function a couple of times and it seemed to work just fine, are there any particular steps to reproduce the error and what specific page does it happen on?
Cheers!
RikardApril 6, 2015 at 3:48 pm #423976Rikard, actually while maiking changes in the page you´ve created, I don´t see them when hitting preview button (you can chek this looking at first text bos it reads “Pulsa aquí para añadir un textooooo”, but when you press preview, the new windows still reflects previous text.”Pulsa aquí para añadir un texto”. This is what I mean, every change you make do not reflect when you want to preview using the button.
You can try also in every page I’ive published.April 7, 2015 at 5:14 am #424427Hi!
try to increase your php memory limit: http://dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
If that does not help you might need to delete all theme files and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account.
Hope this will solve your issue.
Best regards,
AndyApril 7, 2015 at 5:51 am #424448Andy, thanks but doesn’t work.
I changed php memory limit boht first in .htacces alone, and then in wp:config alone as it is explained in link above. Also I try modifiyng wp-includes/default-constants.php as it is explained in this link
http://www.garri2.com/blog/aumentar-la-memoria-limite-de-php-en-wordpress-40mb-a-64mb-o-mas/If you read what I wrote yesterdeay, I deleted Enfolfd folder an upload new fresh Enfold files from Codecanyon, net servers, not once but twice times, with no luck!
Please team, my page is so important for me, and I don’t know why is this happening, but I need a solution,
Just in case of reference, I’m testing in the page Rikard has created today “Kriesi Test” and this is the link the new windows shows up (when I click on Preview button)
http://www.quierohacer.com/kriesi-test/?preview=true&preview_id=1979&preview_nonce=8d05740e5c
Waiting for your support,
Thanks again

April 8, 2015 at 3:45 am #425051April 8, 2015 at 4:00 am #425055Hey!
I flushed your permalinks (en Ajustes->hacer click en “Guardar cambios”) and now previewing pages is working for me on your website. I think there was something wrong with your .htaccess file, but after flushing permalinks it seems to be fine now. Can you confirm that you are happy now :) ?
Muchos saludos!
AndyApril 8, 2015 at 4:17 am #425063Ismael, andy,
Sadly, I’m NOT happy!!Excuse me but really don’t undesrtand waht is happening here. first of all, this is the second time that I explained all this problem isn’t on a “particular” page, but is on every page I have published (you can try with anyone). But in this case, the screen Ismael attached (kriesi test page) differs from the one I see when previewing. Trying to make this more clear, I attached photo number one and two:
As you can see I remarked just as an example, how the page looks in avia editor…But
This is what is all about!! As you can see, there are no changes reflected in preview window! And this happens with every single change you make, no matter if you change a text, a colour a layout, or anything in the editor.Andy, I’ve already flushed permalinks and resaved, also created a new .htaccess file, also try in differents machines, W7 W Vista, Internet connections ip From Argentina, Ip connection from New York (in my work), but but but
Nothing works. I’m so frustrated!!!
Need your Help, please more than ever, maybe the solution is at hand but we can’t see it…
April 9, 2015 at 7:10 am #425717Hey!
I edited that page yesterday, clicked the preview button without updating the page and the preview displayed fine. I tried it again but now it’s not working so the issue seems random and unique on your installation. On our wp installation, the preview is working without fail. Please try to deactivate the theme then activate one of the default themes, see if the issue remains.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 9, 2015 at 4:13 pm #426024Ismael, in answer, copy / paste what I wrote in first post:
Tried working with Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers
Disabled plugins at all
Deleted WP Super Cache plugin and all htacces rules
Resaving permalink structure in wordpress options.
Reinstaling WordPress 4.1.1
Deleted complete Enfold folder and uploaded a new copy fresh files via ftpWhen changing Enfold theme to another one of wordpress, everything works fine, so I assume all this trouble has to do with Enfold.
Also, I changed php memory limit as Andy said.
I keep waiting to you, thanks!
April 10, 2015 at 10:39 pm #426812Hi, well I have some news:
I reintsalled WordPress manually (deleted old wp-admin, wp-includes folders and root files) and copy fresh new directories and files. Also the same with Enfold theme files and folders, reconfigured mysql user, database user, database prefix and so on. Additionally from my cpanel I changed php to single php.ini 5.4 version (I was using 5.2)
For the moment It seems top works fine. But I don’t know if my preview problem will not arise again tomorrow, In that case, I will ask you again for support. Thanks for your comments
Bye!
April 11, 2015 at 10:00 am #426987Hey!
Ok great, thanks for sharing. Let’s hope it keeps working!

RikardMay 3, 2015 at 4:57 pm #438527Hi to everyone!
Now you may figure out what I’m going to write about.. Yes, I’m havign this problem again, although, as Ismael mentioned “the issue seems random and unique on your installation”, I have saved my pages and post, deleted my entire wordpress installation, database and so on, and started all again from the begining. Also, I changed datbase prefix. My actual php memory is 128mb.
BUT, in the meantime, I realized of one thing…The issue (“when editing and making changes to any of my existing pages and press Preview button, the preview window shows up, but the changes do not”) happens only on existing and new PAGES, not in POST type entries.
Why? Here is the thing:
the problem has to do with avia layout builder. In my post I use default editor to buid content. But in pages, i use ABL. I tested:
while editing a page, I make some change (for example: add a simple text box), when hit preview, preview windows shows up, but my recently added text box do not show along with the already existing page content. No matter, if I hit Update button… But when I change ABL to default editor, I can see all my content in the form of avia shortcodes, with the exception of my last recently added content (in this case “the text box”). Again, if I work with default editor, every works fine.
I know that “The Advanced Layout Builder saves its content separately from the content in the visual editor so that there is less chance of a small error causing your whole layout to an error…”
I don’t know why, but there is something wrong with the ABL editor and my wordpress.
I also asked for help in my bluehost suuport, and they have confirmed server confg is fine.
I hope that I am going to find the solution with your help.
remember: I have already tried disabling plugins at all, Deleted WP Super Cache plugin and all htacces rules
Resaving permalink structure in wordpress options. All of this with no luck. Thanks in advance!
May 6, 2015 at 7:54 am #440157Hey!
Alright. This might not be helpful at all but I created a test page again (http://www.quierohacer.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2461&action=edit) and click preview:
Please ask your host to create a phpinfo page. We would like to check the details. Maybe, we can find something there. If possible, please deactivate all plugins then test if the preview is working.

May 20, 2015 at 7:49 am #446963Hey!
What happens when you disable this plugin (Hyper Cache: by Stefano Lissa – 3.2.2)?
Cheers!
IsmaelDecember 9, 2015 at 10:11 pm #549990I’m also having this problem on a site with multiple admins. One admin is experiencing the problem, while others are not. Was this ever solved?
December 10, 2015 at 8:12 am #550210Hi,
It’s most likely due to caching if only some users are having the problem, could you try clearing all browser caches to see if that helps?
Regards,
RikardFebruary 10, 2016 at 7:29 pm #581320Hi there,
We are experiencing the same issue on our multisite installation with multiple admins. We have tried all clearing caches and even working in incognito mode to block caching all together, and the issue still exists.
We even experience the same issue reported above that this seems limited to Page content types.
Any guidance you can provide that helped previous users?
Thanks,
Kit
February 10, 2016 at 7:30 pm #581321Martin – did you ever figure out what was going on here?
THis has starte happening on our multisite platform as well, in exactly the same way.
February 12, 2016 at 4:28 am #581985Hi @FindlyTalent,
The safest way to see your correct changes is to set the post or page to private or password protected and then update as usual, or maybe there is some reason you have to use the preview function?
Regards,
RikardJune 10, 2016 at 3:52 am #645939I am having the same problem on multiple websites that are live on different host servers – created and launched months apart (so some have the newest enfold theme version and some don’t).
I can’t preview any changes made to a page already published.
I don’t want to set a live page to private or password protected when I want to make edits – then visitors to the site won’t be able to see the content. I want to be able to make subtle changes and instantly have the updated page display – which is why the preview function is so valuable – no site visitor has to know I am in the middle of edits.
