Hi,
Call me cynical, but why did I know that your claim that uploading the download to WP was easy was false? Because all theme suppliers say it, but reality is that Envato simply make it difficult so they can get another 50 bucks off punters for installation.
I note Kriesi’s recent comment that we should opt to download all files. However, we are not given a choice, just a button to download. The first zip folder I tried to upload was never ending…the second resulted in the following comment – do you really want to do this? [sic]
I am already wishing I hadnt bothered, and that’s from the biggest selling Theme on Envato.
I bought two themes from Envato recently: the first was badly installed [because it would not install itself, as usual, I was forced to pay 50 bucks but the installer messed up. I gave up and chose another theme – and payed for its installation. That ‘expert’ proceeded to badly install the new theme AND erased the other one.
Shall I give up? Some of you guys should jump the Envato ship and deal direct with the public because we are getting really pissed off with Envato!

September 23, 2015 at 6:52 am #507503Hey belenenses,
I can’t answer for Envato but I think you might be a bit cynical when it comes to this, there’s no conspiracy when it comes to installing themes.
From our Themeforest support page:
Missing style sheet error when installing the theme
A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.
When I install the theme I get the following error:The package could not be installed.
The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
In this case you are simply trying to install the wrong zip file. If you download the files from themeforest you got various options:You can either download:
All files (with documentation, psd files, wordpress theme, licence, versions file etc)
Only the theme files
If you download only the theme files and upload them to your server the theme will work fine. If you download “All files” you need to unpack the downloaded zip file first. Inside you will find another ZIP file that contains the actual theme files. This is the folder you can upload to your server.http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990/support
So if you downloaded the full package you need to unzip it then upload the theme zip file inside of it. The “are you sure you want to do this” is a WordPress error message and has nothing to do with either Envato or any theme, try logging out and clear your browser and it should go away and work as intended again.

RikardSeptember 23, 2015 at 8:13 am #507528Hi Rikard,
Conspiracy or not, the fact that as soon as you buy you get offered a 50 dollar installation tells people that it is rarely as simple as you guys say it is.
In your case, why don’t you tell us the size of the zip folder we are supposed to upload? In this case, the full folder is 59 MB so I assume it’s not that. Clicking on this, I then see a zip entitles ‘enfold’ that is 14.646 MBs. I have tried uploading this one and get the ‘are you sure…’ message. Alternatively, there is the psd.files zip.
That’s all I have. So what do I do?
Thanks,
B.
September 23, 2015 at 9:12 am #507549Hello again,
So I have tried 4 times to upload the correct [‘enfold’ that is 14.646 MBs] zip without success. I always get the ‘are you sure…’ message.
Can you assist?
Thanks,
B.
September 23, 2015 at 1:23 pm #507716Hi!
You should upload enfold.zip file. Please try installing via FTP manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/
If you would like us to install the theme for you, please upload enfold.zip file on your server (and tell us where) and then post FTP access and WordPress admin logins here privately.Envato studio offers paid installing. It is covered in our support so we can do it for you :)
Best regards,

September 23, 2015 at 5:26 pm #508007Hi
I am not knowledgeable on these matters. Can I email you the zip file?
If not, there must be some other way to proceed. You must have a copy of your own product ! :)
Thanks.

YigitSeptember 24, 2015 at 1:45 pm #508434Hello Yigit,
Firstly, many thanks for resolving the theme upload problem :)
However, having installed Woocommerce and BBpress, and the Theme demo content, I cannot now visit the site or the shop. I just get the following error message.
Found
The document has moved here.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Can you resolve this for me, please?
Thanks.

September 24, 2015 at 1:54 pm #508443Hey!
I have emptied your .htaccess file and it helped. I noticed that your LayerSlider image links are broken. If you have not anything on your database that you would like to keep other than Enfold dummy content, please let us know so we can fix it for you :)
Best regards,
YigitSeptember 24, 2015 at 3:19 pm #508516Hi Yigit,
Thanks.
I have not started any work yet, so if you can fix the broken image links you refer to I would be most grateful.
Best wishes,

September 25, 2015 at 3:48 pm #509108September 25, 2015 at 5:30 pm #509190Hi Yigit,
It looks very nice – just ;like the one I bought! :)
A few questions:
1. I have downloaded the Woocommerce plug-in but the category SHOP does not show up on the Home page Menu. Is that normal?2. Where do I find the product videos so I can find out how to use the Theme?
3. And the BBPress?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers!
B.
September 26, 2015 at 9:20 am #509420Hi!
1.) Yes, that is normal. You have to add the menu items on Appearance > Menus panel. If you can’t see the product category items, look for the Screen Options button then enable the items that you want to add as menu.
2.) You can watch a video for setting up the products here: https://vimeo.com/77351544
Starting a product page in the theme is the same as the usual process when you install the woocommerce plugin so their documentation will help: http://docs.woothemes.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/getting-started/
3.) This tutorial will help: https://codex.bbpress.org/step-by-step-guide-to-setting-up-a-bbpress-forum/
