I just bought this slow and outdated theme couple of days ago. I am not sure why the developer of the theme forcing people to go to footer.php to be able to remove “powered by Enfold WordPress Theme” on the footer.
I followed everything step they mentioned and the dam “powered by Enfold WordPress Theme” is still there.
This theme is sucks, they force every single theme to have “powered by Enfold WordPress Theme”.
This is an illegal practice, you should allow the user to be able to remove it. I was also forced to use “Reset All Options”, now the theme looks different. If I knew about the theme that is such a pain in the neck, I never bought it.Please fix the”powered by Enfold WordPress Theme” on my website. Your support is not working.
March 29, 2023 at 9:59 am #1402873You can find several posts using the search function on how to remove this notice in the footer.
add to your own notice there :[nolink]
You can even find it in the documentation ( link ) . If you have a little patience, you will be answered even here friendly and in compliance with netiquette. Even people who have no profit from the theme here – nice and friendly participants like me answer you comprehensively and quickly.
You can even rewrite this note that is automatically inserted there to your own settings.
Here is an answer from my side that is not too long ago. : Link
I wish you another beautiful day. ;)March 29, 2023 at 12:22 pm #1402892Hey,
You are not forced to edit the footer.php to remove the backlink. As @guenni007 pointed it out and as documented on our documentation (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/footer/#copyrights-info) you can simply add [nolink] shortcode to remove it.
@Guenni007 Thanks as always! :)Best regards,
YigitApril 6, 2023 at 12:19 am #1403659How can I add file upload fields in the contact form?
There is no option for uploading in the form of elements
Please helpApril 6, 2023 at 9:00 am #1403673Also in the context that you expect a quick solution / answer, it makes sense for other problems to open a separate topic; especially since it may also be interesting for other participants who have similar problems.
Now to your question: It makes sense for file uploads to use a plugin; because it is not only the function that you have to consider here, but also security aspects. I use when such functions are required for my customers then Contact Form 7 and Drag and Drop Multiple File Upload. Unfortunately, the latter is not a free plugin.
April 6, 2023 at 10:10 am #1403686Hi,
As @guenni007 mentioned, Enfold’s contact form doesn’t have an upload field for security concerns. If you need this feature, please consider using more advanced form plugins such as Contact Form 7 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/).
@guenni007 thanks for your help as always :)Cheers!
