    Hi, just updated Enfold theme and lost the setting the only shows a summary of the post. Can someone please tell me how to do this as I have changed it in the settings of WordPress but it doesn’t flow through

    Hi Stevenbegg!

    That setting is done from the blog element added to the page. Just make sure the blog page isn’t set from the theme options and that its output is done by the blog element from advanced layout editor.

    Hi Devin,

    Sorry maybe I didn’t explain myself properly.

    Before the update, when someone went to my blog, they could scroll through summaries of the blogs that have been posted. Now after the update, the summaries are missing and they have to scroll through the whole of the blogs.

    I asked abut this along time avon and someone provided a solution. I just can’t find that solution again

    Hi!

    You should create a page then switch to Advance Layout Builder, add the Blog Posts element. Configure the Blog Content length to show the excerpt. Don’t set a blog page on Enfold > Theme Options > Where do you want to display blog?. If you don’t do this, you might need to use the <!–more–> tag to specify the excerpt manually. You can also a post then click “Screen Options” and enable the Excerpt option. You can input the summary on the Excerpt box manually.

    Thank you Ismael for your advice.

    I have over 50 blog posts. Last week before I updated to the latest version of Enfold, they were showing as a summary of the blog and I have never used the more tag.

    I know someone gave me the fix to this a long time ago and it was a change in one of the scripts. I dont want to go through all of the blogs and manually insert the more tag. There has to be another way

    Please help

    Ok, this is totally different to how I have been posting articles.

    So if I was to go down this path (which I will), how do I post an article? Also what about the url for all the existing posts, will they remain the same?

    Hi!

    You will post or create an article the same way you’re doing it before. What we just did is create a page then we added the Blog Posts element and configure the content length to show just the excerpt. It is still a blog page.
