    I have assigned the page like normal, and the demo posts do not show up on that page.

    Please advise.

    Hi,

    You chose your blog page and frontpage in Settings > Reading as well. I deselected there and then added Blog Posts element to your blog page. Please edit your page and adjust the blog post setting as needed
