Etc. I’ve tried a bunch of things. I’ve disabled all plugins, problem is still there. I’ve switched from the child theme to the main theme, problem still there. Then I tried switching to TwentyFourteen, and the problem went away, so I’m led to believe it’s something with the theme.
I’m running WP 4.0 and V2.9.1 of Enfold. I see there’s an update (V2.9.2), so I’m trying to install that now. But any other options?

Thats probably it because Enfold Version 2.9.1 is not compatible with WP 4.0.
There are many threats in this forum complaining about the same problem. Just update the theme to 2.9.2 and everything should work as it is supposed to.
